Exxon
Hi, When I play on my Xbox, I usually play Rainbow Six Vegas with friends. I can have Vegas 2 for a pretty low price (for pc), and was thinking if it's worth the money. What do you guys think of the game? Thanks for reading, Exxon
Dnero
What do you guys think of the game? The best co-op FPS I've ever played. Haven't played it since '09 though.
Daz
What do you guys think of the game? The best co-op FPS I've ever played. Nail on head. Vegas1 had better story levels and better multiplayer maps, but Vegas2 has much better persistent xp and rank features, a sh*t ton more guns and the story is drop in drop out co-op. As well as some free map packs for both games. Get it. ASAP. Vegas2 is basically just a reskinned and tweaked mod of the first game, which was amazing. For a 2006 game it pisses massively on anything even remotely similar to this day. If anyone is interested in tactical shooters, they should not be without this game. If you dont own it, Go buy it now. I love the game so much that I bought it on download as well as owning the disc. It is actually the best co-op tactical shooter ever made. AceRay
f*ck, I regret giving R6V to a friend on his birthday! That was such a good game! I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
darthYENIK
I like the Vegas games, but I like the original games better. Raven Shield is still my favorite. No regenerating health, any mistake will cost a team member their life, and there is nothing like the feeling of a perfectly executed operation. But those days are over. Making your own plan and one shot kills are too hard for the average FPS neanderthal to deal with.
Seddo
No topic yet? You say that as if it's an up and coming game. We did have a topic but it's a couple of years old. Daz has pretty much said it all, i preferred Vegas 1 missions and multiplayer maps also but liked the XP rewards counting in single player and multiplayer from Vegas 2. I loved playing terrorist Hunt as well, so much excitement and adrenaline when there's a couple of terrorists left and it's just you to take them out as your team have died. OysterBarron
Gotta love the old classics. me n the lads spent many an evening on this. any of you played cod then gone back to this after? it feels like its in superslow motion. really shows you how tactical you had to be instead of running or gunning. Finn 7 five 11
How come I haven't heard that much about the Vegas games? It is a challenging game, particularly on console and many people don't like to lose. Rainbow Six has been around since 98 i think, it has never been a massive hit, but has always been relatively popular. If you like a challenge, and you like a bit of tactics get stuck into this game. Daz
I'm playing it right now. Terrorist hunt on Villa, Lone Wolf, Realistic difficulty, high density enemies. sh*t's inteeeeense. This. Daz highfives I wish more games would take a page out of their book and actually include co-op modes that work and that are always different and random and totally replayable for years like these two games did. I think the main reason it wasnt so popular was the multiplayer didnt use a party system, and it was often quite hard to get games going, or to get everyone you wanted on the same team. No doubt if it had a party system it would have been amazing to play online. The best shooting mechanics from any game. There was not one single thing wrong with this game, AT ALL. 99.9% Perfect. People always want to be entertained with their games and dont have the creativity or brainpower to find the fun in things themselves.
Voodoo
This is one of the best tactical shooters ever made, IMO and definitely the best on the 360. Terrorist hunt is always a laugh. It was done so well that it just never gets old.
