buster60
It's been 3 years, and still there isn't even an announcement... I have such a craving for a new GTA! But I am not mad at R*. Because I know that it's not going to release a game when it's not ready - they are the opposite of infinity ward, which sells a new copied and pasted CoD every year just to make money. I know that the more I am waitingm the better the product is going to get. Are you with me? In another topic, There is something which upsets me a bit, not from R*, but from the community. Most of the peoples' wishlists are so dull... You know? Most of the things I see people wish for are just generic things which were already in previous gtas, like: "I wish there was a big city to explore... And a good story... and choices like in GTA V. Oh and moar carz and wpnz". While almost all of the games coming out in the industry these days are just copies of the very same thing over and over again, It makes me angry to see that it's not entirely the AAA companies' fault, it's the community's. Why are you wishing for the same things? Aren't you upset of games being a copy and paste of their prodeccesors? (how is that word should be written? ). GTA V was one of the best game of all times in my opinion, but still, I would not wish for GTA V to be the same. I think you have understood what I intended to deliver. Finally, I have a huge, huge wishlist for the next game, and it's different from most wishlists. It is also so big I can't right or even remember it all, but I would like to tell you even some of it. -A new control scheme. I think IV's and RDR's control schemes/ button layouts weren't great, because they led to many issues / uncapabilites, such as- not being able to look around while running (because the right thumb was occupied on tapping the run button), while driving a car, you couldn't aim before you shoot, and also couldn't reload, a problem that led to an instant reload which was unrealistic and overpowered, and more. I have a full button layout I thought about, which I may upload here sometime. It's too long for me to write it all right now. It's highlight is the left stick button, which is being used both for running, and for a special function called quick turn - you run by pressing the LSB while the LSB is pointed forward; And while the LSB is pointed to any other direction, the camera quick turns to that direction - for instance, pointing the stick to the right and pressing it will make the camera turn 90 degrees to the right; Pointing it backwards will and pressing it will make the view turn 180 degrees, and so on. It will be extremely handy when you suddenly get shot at from behind of a place out of your view, so you could quickly turn to your shooter instead of moving the right stick and waiting a few seconds until the camera will reach the desired spot. -I wish the missions were more varied - instead of almost all of the missions being "go to that location, take out these guys, and return", I wish more missions were unique, for instance, you need to win at a poker game; Seduce someone's girlfriend in order to get secrets about him or steal his house's keys from her purse, etc; And generally rich and varied missions. -Why instead of having the same few citizens in the streets, can't R* make a characteristics "pool" - a "pool" of hairstyles, skins, body structures, cloths and more, so any citizen will be randomized from characteristic from that pool, in that way there could be millions of options for citizens? And same with cars? -I have an idea about the multiplayer. It's a way to make a totally unique, never seen before online play, which integrates the online and singleplayer gameplay seamlessly together. That's how it works: In many of the story's missions, two people will be involved in the mission, one being the protagonist and the other being some NPC related, like Little Jacob from IV. Now, instead of the NPC to be played by an AI, why not giving to option to another player online to play? It's going to work like this: Two players connected to the net which happen to play the same mission in about the same time, will be randomly and unaware-ly chosen to play together, in such way that to the first player, It will seem like he is the protagonist and the other player is the helping friend, while to the second player, it won't look like he is the friend - in his screen, his character will look like the protagonist and the other like the friend. A same thing could work with antagonists - when a player reaches a mission where he has to choose between two options, let's take for example- between man A (was that his name?) and and man B. In man Amission, let say, you have to kill B and his bodyguard, while in B's mission, B tells you he thinks that A is about to kill him, so you are asked to be the his bodyguard to protect him from A's goons. That way, two players could each play the protagonists in their own game, while unknowingly facing eachother. There is still a huge chunk of my wishlist left, but that's all for now. So what do you think?
Los Santos Pedestrian
I have a feeling this is going to be locked.
XTREME0235
Post it in the pinned GTA V Wishlist topic. Your post in general is no different to anyone else who hasn't used the wishlist topic.
ahash08
I think, it's not going to get locked because in wishlist there are so many reply like, "I want more Bikes or cars" so how R* going to read that, In this Wishlist, He got Opinions and thing he wanted to say about other people. Plus it is big. So I like his wishlist, it's very good, true and R* should read this so they can get it right.
