YankeesPwnMets
Ok, so here is the biggest disadvantage for me living on the first floor of an apartment building. It doesn't take much frigging hard work for mice to somehow eat through walls. Also, my pathetic excuse for a neighbor trash their place, partying up all night... I've gotten into multiple heated verbal arguments with them about noise, partying, the pests they bring over, and even when I was there I saw mice crawling out under their furniture. Those friggin mice must have gotten their way to my apartment as well. Who the hell doesn't keep their expensive ass apartment clean? Those pricks *sneers* Who knows a good way to get rid of these idiotic mice? Traps don't work. I've looked for any possible holes that mice can go through and got a repair guy to plaster and paint them. My doors are way too small to crawl under. I'm still wondering how the frick these pests got in and how the frick to get rid of them. Anyone knows? Any possible exterminators here who can help? Another thing - posion is not a viable option at this time because my friends come over some of the time and they sometimes bring children over and I don't want to harm them in any way
*MURDOC*
My doors are way too small to crawl under. How big are these f*cking mice? Seriously though, have you ever seen a mouse squeeze through a tight area? They can get in just about anywhere.
YankeesPwnMets
Hard to estimate... say around 2.5 inches long to maybe .75 to an inch tall. Ever since my god damn neighbors moved in, this has happened: Roaches start to pop up anywhere. f*ck, they were even hiding behind my ethernet cables and when one crawl out, I sprayed RAID on the entire area and they all came out scurrying. These roaches are in anywhere that is dark and I constant yell to them about it and get cans of RAID to spray on dark areas. Mice. Last month there has been an enormous increase. I see them anytime of the day and almost anywhere possible now. I haven't been able to find out where they are camping out yet. Noise - Them and their f*cking friends are partying up all night to the point where I am about to go insane on them Edited August 13, 2011 by YankeesPwnMets
*MURDOC*
Basically, a mouse can get through any hole that's around 3/8 of an inch or larger (the size of a standard bicycle axle), so if there's any openings that size, you need to block them. Other than that I honestly don't feel like writing you a whole plan to get rid of your mice You have the advantage of the internet, I suggest you use a search engine or something. cactus.
Another thing - posion is not a viable option at this time because my friends come over some of the time and they sometimes bring children over and I don't want to harm them in any way Well unless those children like to eat dog food and cat food, then mixing poison with some pet food sounds like a viable option. I think I might have found one of their homes, but I won't open it to confirm because I don't want who knows how many to get loose. Do you think hiring an exterminator and spraying poison around, then bringing the kids on vacation good?

CryptReaperDorian
Get a cat. ????? Profit. Unless somebody is allergic or just really doesn't like cats, this is possibly a very good option. A cat would probably be much friendlier with children than any traps or poison.

NaidRaida
Where I live, such stories about unwelcome animals are a job for the landlord and he have to pay for the "cleaning". If you didn´t cause the problem, of course. You should ask for professional help in every case, at least a pest controller and your landlord, if you have one. Menaced
Get a cat. Better yet, get a ferret. I'm being serious; those things are adept at hunting rodents, and they can fit into small nooks and crannies where the average feline would struggle to reach. It is a shame they have been made illegal to keep in certain parts of the United States, though.

lil weasel
Live box Traps and peanut butter? Live(?) by the time I got to them, 24 hours after setting them out the mice were dead... go figure. Have you seen the Sticky paper? The mouse walks on to get the bait and is all four paws stuck like a fly... If you poison then where will they die? Dead mice smell like stinking feet for two weeks. Do you want that in your walls? Finn 7 five 11
embrace the mice Hahaha. Well, poison could be a good idea, but you end up with dead mice in your apartment, the only way to find them is to sniff them out. Clean up big time, make the floor and thing spotless, and kill any roaches and such that you find, and then you will be able to easily see where the mice could hide, plus if your apartment is dirty as well you are not helping your problem. Fin Finally once you have cleaned up tell your landlord.
YankeesPwnMets
Get a cat. I can't be committed long term to take care of a cat until I'm 45-50 years old Life is stressful enough, and pets will just make my head spin around all day @above: I keep the house clean. I don't leave pretzels or crumbs anywhere on the floor or counter

GTA_Loco
What lil weasel said. Sticky paper is effective, safe, non-toxic and sticks a rat alive. I've used this before when mice somehow got into out flat and would frequently sneek into my room. I once got three in one day until we had the hole in the bathroom where they burrowed covered. It's also not bulky like a typical mouse trap. The only catch here is you have to know where the rats pass through where you can put this glue like a mat for them to step on.
