Los Santos Pedestrian Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Now we all know that there's been car dealerships in many of the GTA games (like Sunshine Autos in Vice City and Otto's Autos in San Fierro), but there aren't any actual deals going on. Those are meant for people to buy cars, not just for the cars to sit there and wait for you to steal them. This is what I think should be added in GTA V. At car dealers, people will go inside (or outside if the cars are in a parking lot). Then the people would look around at the cars, maybe look inside too, then either leave or talk to a salesperson. If they decide to take a car, they sign someting with the salesperson and then they shake hands and stuff. Plus you can choose cars and buy them. I think this will make dealerships more realistic, so they'll be actual dealerships, not just a building with free cars. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You would make the testdrive to impress the customer and drive the way they desire. And off course you would be the one to supply the dealership with cars. Cash High Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 You got a point. I always thought it was weird how Rockstar didn't at least script peds walking around the dealerships. Maybe have car salesman walk up to you and offer you assistance. After that, a menu could pop up showing the available vehicles and the prices. These dealerships could give you something to spend your money on. The dealerships could sell rare vehicles or vehicles with perks (bulletproof tires/windows, engine modifications, etc.). Disc space is not an issue, multiple discs can be used for the xbox if need be, but i don't think even that is required, and the PS3 has loads of space left. A few car dealerships are not going to make any difference. The option to re-buy a car for a small fee (like $1000) if you trash it would be great as well, nothing worse than your custom car getting trashed and having to do it again. Chinatwon Wars' wasn't really a car dealership, more like an export/import garage but whatever. Anyway, yes I would like to see car dealerships.
