This game is great. I bought it just now... do you guys recommend any cool ways to do missions?

Just try not to get busted.

just make sure to always use a custom loadout for each mission.

don't let the game give you the default combination of weapons / traps, pick your own.

 

you'll find that you don't need grenades as much as mines.

and you'd be better off starting with the PPSH as your SMG instead of the Thompson or MP40. it allows you to carry at least 4 times as many rounds because the PPSH utilizes a drum magazine. each one holds 71 shots as opposed to just 30 or 32.

 

even the rifles they try to give you aren't always the best.

the Springfield and Gewher are not as good as the Mosin Nagant or Kar 98k.

I can't seem to find that Hitler DLC.

The Hitler DLC was for preorderers. Like me.

 

Finished the game, I enjoyed every single bit of it. I can't believe I got to kill Wolff on my third shot with the Gewehr. I would have never got that shot with a PS3 controller.

This is a great game.

When i showed this to my non-gamer friends, he's actually amazed by the x-ray feature thing, and then he decided to try it by himself.

 

My complain about the game is that the enemy AI is pretty stupid.

Once, in the level where we go to the church to receive a dropped packages, when i go to the basement in one of surrounding house, i find 3 enemy looking at each other, and when i shot one of them with my Welrod, they didn't notice it, even when it's happening right infront of their eyes. So, i welrod-ing the other two and get out without even being noticed. WTF?

 

And yeah, agree with goin god, the audio lines is kinda bugging me too.

I've seen this happen before too, but it's rare.

 

the problem with situations like that is due to the way the game is programmed to detect shadows. when you are crouched or prone you are harder to spot and this extends to low-light areas. so once in awhile, when you a kill an enemy in small room with low lighting, his body may drop to the ground and be "concealed" by the shadows that are supposed to be for the player. the other enemies may never react because the first body technically disappeared to them.

but again, it's a rare occurrence. usually a dead body in a room with other enemies causes them all to freak out and start searching.

 

has anyone scored a 3-for-1 kill yet?

I can only get 2-for-1's. and it's usually from the head of one to the neck or chest of the other. I think I've only pulled off a double headshot once or twice.

 

there are a few places throughout the game where it seems possible to get a 3-for-1 kill, but it's very difficult to line up.

the trailing enemy usually just gets hit in the leg and doesn't die like the first 2.

I did. I was trying to get a 2-1 but didn't see there was a third guy close. The bullet got through the first guy head then the 2nd guy's neck (or chest, can't remember) and then to the third guy's leg.

Yeah its pretty easy in some levels, like the one where there's just one hallway with like 15 russians lining up.

Got 3 - 1 while saving Schwaiger.

In the library, he said that Russian army truck are arriving and we have to defend the library. When it have arrived, i shot the driver and i dont know why, my bullet go through him and it kept going and hit 2 more soldier at the back of the truck.

 

But can't see sh*t, since the camera can't go through the truck.

oh see, I've gotten 3 kills at once before, but it was also using explosives for the third.

 

like goin-god pointed out, I was trying to refer to 3 kills with 1 bullet.

there's definitely opportunities for it but I don't usually take the time to set it up. when there's 3+ enemies coming at you, you've usually got other things to worry about.

I've got the DLC mission too where you get to assassinate Hitler at his private train station in the Bavarian Alps.

it doesn't take more than an hour to complete, but it's a really fun mission. and hopefully that means more interesting DLC in the future.

 

it's not much longer than the average campaign level, but it's creative and fun.

plus, you get to KILL HITLER
