Only 1 minor thingy where driver got infernus and the round had to be reset, but other then that, it was good, think i'm even nearer ZDAN now. Last 2 beach rounds should be a good bout for the title! Sorry I left unexpectedly, I was about to tell you guys that I had to go, then I got signed out of PSN so I just turned off the PS3, lol. The only gripe I have is the delay between each match. Fair enough it is worth it for the new locations but the vehicle rules are just too strict imo. As long as people don't go overboard with vans, trucks, ambulances, buses, firetrucks etc. then tbh it would be a lot easier and fun if we could have a game, get any 'normal' car and go to next location. My brain stopped working and my thought process went something like [No car ---> Ramp ---> Jump & land in haystack!] Unfortunatly my landing was something more like a lamp pole in the balls followed by a long tumble to the ground and to finish off, wacking my head on the bottom of the pole! We can always move it for friday, or sunday, or some other saturday forth and back. Last rounds are, so it should be something that fits people, seeing that we'll have a 1v1 battle for 1st place, and a lot of people battling it out for 3rd. Should be great! I won that round, however it was reseted due to this fact. Anyways... Great event today, it is a shame I mixed the time and arrivied kind of late in the event. Sorry guys this wont happen anymore, I promise. Even though I think Andy liked the fact I wasn't there for the first matches, since he is even closer to my rank, only one point is the difference. Please, make the final on a saturday, because it is the only day avaiable for me to play The Game. Cheers guys. EDIT: Almost forgetting a notable phrase of Andy today, sorry but I got to quote it: Damn! I can't believe I missed the first 3 matches... But I will recover the lead. No, you wont recover it... Since i'm cutting the lead bit by bit now, i'm sure i'll cut it enough for the overall win in the epic finale. And you missed 3 matches today as you were late but i missed 6 when i had the error, so i'm pretty sure i would've had a 2-3 pts at least lead if i attended those. Either way, it'll be a good final. My game acts retarded when in MP and I kept on automatically leaving the chat, it took 10 minutes to go between the game and the chat, plus I couldn't find any vehicle. Guys who didn't show up on the event also should get something but I couldn't be arsed to make something just like they couldn't be arsed to join up. AndyGanteks Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 Well, i'd like to thank Tycek for hosting this great event, and to a tremendous job he did. Can't wait to see DDT2 and that other new event you have planned. And i'm thankful to god that i was able to play today and have a chance to compete. Tonight was great and each round was story of it's own. 1st round at arena 9 bohan beach, zdan dc'ed at start, and i failed at start winning 0 points. driver won that one 2nd round arena 9 zdan also dc'ed, but i managed to win it and go +4 points up in a tight and good battle 3rd round was also won by me, managed to push ZDAN first in water, and after that, in an epic fashion i exploded last and fought my way to victory for +9 at that moment. Wasn't over yet though. round 1 arena 10 was broker beach, it was me and zdan getting to the very end, we both fought and healed our cars, but he was the one who won, making it +7 for me and still tight to the end round 2 at arena 10, zdan, driver and me, top3 in the end were left fighting. i went down first as i gone down to water, zdan pushed driver dude to water and ended victorious, this my lead was cut to only +3 points, and that promised an epic final round in it, round 3 of arena 10, there was(apparently) me and Z left standing. As i needed 2nd at least to ensure title, i thought cool nice i won, so i went on relaxed to fight him 1 on 1 for the last round win, z car went on fire and i tried to push him deep into water, however, he somehow escaped, and managed to pushme instead. didnt care much as i already said ''im 2nd'' and started celebrating but then i saw tycek moving as well as grease and was like wtf and realized i then ended up 4th and no pts. My only hope was that Tycek and G will win, since 2nd and 3rd place would then give me the overall win, luckily, as i damaged Zdan's car a lot already, it took a few hits from them two, and he exploded. Shortly after G died, as well as Tycek who won the last round eventually. With ZDAN 3rd, my lead became +2, and the event win was mine. What can i say about it now, an epic finale, and just the way i wanted it to be, epic and tight to the end, with a happy ending for me. And it happened. Dunno why, but i also feel the need to dedicate my win in DDT today to GTA3Freak-2001, one of the mods and creators of this place who passed away as we were informed today. If it wasn't for him and his moderation and skills, this place wouldn't' have gone this far, and there wouldn't be no gangs section, no events and no DDT for me to win it.
