I usually converts map mods and other stuff between the III era games for my own purposes and also tools, models and textures are can easily be converted between the III era games.IV uses a whole new engine!!!So hence the separation is needed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Suction Testicle Man Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 The III/IV Era Modding categories are specifically for discussion of technical aspects of modding, while the Showroom has historically been a place to post a mod and receive comments on it. A forum separation is necessary for technical discussion, but not so much for comments - which are handled adequately using topic title tags, icons and screenshots in the opening post.
