jasperino
Hello, Recently I found out about all the mods availlable on GTA IV, but I don't seem to get them to work. I've got Icenhancer and the no-intro's mod working, but I can't seem to get other mods to work. I've tried Kidnapping 1.2 and Farnsworth's Business Mod, but they were both not working. I'm using Xliveless and got scripthook.dll in my folder. I've put the two mods in the scripts folder and in a folder called plugins (read somewhere they would have to be there instead of in scripts folder), but it's still not working. Does anyone know how to fix this? Version 1.0.4.0 Windows 7 x64 Jasperino Edited August 11, 2011 by jasperino
Symbiote
Don't forget the .NET scripthook: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392325 The scripthook.dll file is a different scripthook. jasperino
jasperino
Thx for your reply! I already tried that one, but the strange thing is: Without it, the mods don't work, with it, GTA IV crashes after 1/2 sec of ''playing'' (So I already loaded the game). Do you know a solution for that? (I Have all the C++ programs installed and got .net framework)
Symbiote
The .NET scripthook comes with the latest version of the C++ scripthook, which is unfortunately incompatible with GTA4 version 1.0.4.0. So what you need is version 0.4.0 of the C++ scripthook. I spent some time hunting for this older version, and finally found it. Uploaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/?g9dkpfwok7b82b6 I'm glad I found it, because it turns out I was using the older 0.3.0 version. jasperino
