You may not simply leave an advertisement or a recruitment topic, directing people to your gang's forums, website, or any external means of communication. Harsh? Maybe. We want gangs to grow on these boards, and mingle with other gangs and the community. We do not want to encourage isolated gangs that operate externally. You can't leave an advertisement for your gang here. You must operate it from GTAForums. I'm not really sure if you're actually doing that because I see you leaving links for your external forums. Posting a link to your gang's forums/website is alright, but do not overdo it. The sole purpose of your topic must not be to advertise, your gang must reside on these boards. Any advertisements will be dealt with harshly, as it is with the rest of GTAForums. Server advertisements are not welcome, but you may post reviews here. Do not create a new topic. Like come on this is first gang let doc tell him his flaws or mods. Look at AoD they leave links to their private forum, and youtube channel and did they get spammed by all of you guys, NO. If yes, get all your members to sign up in here and then post a gang topic. Please read forum guidelines. @Yakuza: people suggested the right rules so far. Gangs like AoD, Yardies and D12 do have external links on their first page but it's a whole different story. The gangs were born and raised on GTAF and the gang sites were created after they were already established as GTAF gangs. This doesn't mean that an already existing gang can't be based here but so far all the ones that came here, to supposedly do such thing, failed cause their members were unwilling to sign up here and become part of the community. The usual answer is: "I asked them to do so but they won't sign up blah blah blah". So, what's the point of having clans based outside here that post topics in here just to recruit people, advertise their sites and arrange matches with GTAF gangs? None. The forum policy is about building a strong gang community, not about gathering all the clans that are out there. This section is not a classidied ads section for GTA clans all over the world. It's a good policy if you ask me. Quantity doesn't mean quality. If an external gang doesn't make an effort to become a GTAF gang then it's the kind of gang we are not looking for.
