jackass2009
I downloaded HippieCommunist's modpack and put the scripts in the /rockstar/Grand theft Auto IV/Scripts that came in the .net scripthook. When I hit the keys in-game, nothing happens. I have GTA 1.0.7.0, not on Steam, and I've gotten other mods to run flawlessly, although this is a first for the Scripts. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.
Symbiote
Can you post the contents of your ScriptHookDotNet.log file?
jackass2009
I found a text document called "ScriptHook", I'm assuming that's it. Symbiote
If you don't have a file called exactly "ScriptHookDotNet.log" then the .NET scripthook isn't loading at all. The log file you posted is for the C++ scripthook, which is different. Make sure you've installed the .NET scripthook into the GTA4 folder: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392325
jackass2009
I downloaded that and put it in the directory like I'm supposed to. It's still not working. It came with Scripthook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi, a folder called scripts, which has a bunch of sub folders for being a developer and a file called "_PUT .NET SCRIPTS HERE". No .log file or anything like that. Is that supposed to happen?
Symbiote
Hmm, well I'm not sure what the issue could be if the scripthook is installed correctly, but it still doesn't load or even give an error message... Edit: Did you install the two Microsoft packages in the "requirements" section of the .NET scripthook thread? jackass2009
Nope. No error messages. I thought that I downloaded it before, but maybe not. I'll try that and see if it works. Edit: They work now. Thanks a lot. I didn't have the requirements. Edited August 11, 2011 by jackass2009
