Exxon
Hi everyone, I just installed the IV:SA BETA, but now I can't change the graphics settings anymore. It takes 1 minute to return to the graphics menu, and it only showes the 'Accept' and 'Cancel' buttons for 0.1 seconds. Should I delete the SETTINGS.dat file in the appdata folder? Thanks in advance! Rbn 3d
This is because the settings are defined in commandline.txt, in the game folder. Open it and delete the lines as you want.
Exxon
Sorry for the bump! But it doesn't work, when I press Space to let the changes have effect it just takes about half a minute for the black screen to show 'Accept' for just 0,01 second and then I get black screen for another 30 seconds, and then nothing has changed. Your monitor probably doesn't support the refresh rate you're trying to change to in the resolution slider. Make sure its 60hz - not 59hz, 50hz or whatever. Make sure its 60hz - not 59hz, 50hz or whatever. I can't set the refresh rate higher then 60, and that's the one I use (want to and use). The TV also has 56 Hz, but the slider doesn't have an option for that rate. What now?

You can specify whatever refresh rate you like using the commandline "-refreshrate #". # being the desired refreshrate of course.
