I think the missions would be achievements as well.

Like The Simpsons Game!

I truly doubt that. Plus, GTA2 got all those in-game bonuses and bonus levels as prizes - that are achievements for sure!

If GTA 2 can be remade on PS3 with better resolution of HDMI, better sound quality including the camera view with 1st and 3rd person view and having the trophies will give the game overall of 10/10 maximum for upgraded GTA 2. Cheats included, however it's might be better if the cheats can be used without blocking the trophies, unlike in other GTA game like GTA IV.

Can you imagine that this GTA 2 remade will be the best one in classic version of the original GTA 2. lol.gif

I think it's fine as it is.

As I see it, such a remake will ruin it.

I'm not sure what the name of the achievement would be, but it would be getting a gang killing x number of cops for you, when the cops are chasing you.

That could be called "plausible deniability" or "alibi" or "protect and serve".

You have to kill 150 Scientists in a Zaibatsu and a Rednecks mission alone... what kind of poor achievements are that.:miranda:

Expeditious execution! - Earn $5m from expeditious executions. There's a way to do that by trapping a ped under a car in the water.

I'd also have an achievement for trapping yourself under a car in the water.

You complain about that, and not the radio stations achievement...

Anyway, in any game that has achievements, there's always some achievements which are incredibly easy (some may be awarded for keeping up with the story) and others are painfully hard to get.

Hehe although i said in a post after that this was meant more like a joke, anyway, it would take more time to listen to all the radio stations than killing even 500 gang members, because some of the radio stations can only be found in a specific district. The game probably wouldn´t keep track of how much of the radio station you already have listened to, so it would reset anytime you restart the game, which means you need to listen through 3-4 stations per area, so about 1 hour of driving in a car with radio. :beerhat:

Exactly, I meant listening to all stations fully, so full 12 (or in Head Radio's case 24) minutes :)

Btw about -Train Massacre: Destroy a train.- I think killing Flambo Cortez in the yellow Redneck mission, by pushing his armoured car onto the train rails and let the train do the job would be more fitting, haha.

That is a good idea, in fact. Another one:

-Krishna Krusher - Kill Nova Bright during Karma Assasins! by crushing his bus with a tank.

Preserve the "Innocents" 100g : You have passed the Redneck job "Penal Ties!" without killing any prisoner.

To be honest, I don't think I could get this achievement on the crowded PC version. This mission is already very hard, so killing the guards without killing any prisoner would definitely deserve 100g points !

You can pass the mission wihout killing any prisoners or guards. Just bring a car from a parking lot into the prison, then start "Penal Ties!" mission and when you spawn inside the prison you can use this car to navigate across the roofs and jump out of the prison.

You jump with a fast car off the ramp and use the handbrake on the upper ledge to the left of the gates because it normally throws you back. It´s still not so easy though. You also might navigate a bit while you perform this, so that you don´t hit the wall and fall down to the water.

Mmm, I still think it would eventually come out by itself. The GTA 2 radio stations are very short. It may not happen if you just rush to complete the missions, but if you try to complete the game to 100% (I mean, getting all tokens, completing all frenzies...), you'll spend more than enough time driving cars. Although I agree than it would be very dependant of how the game tracked it. If it tracked it so badly that it required to do it in a single playthrough, then yes, you'd be screwed.

There's also the problem of how to get out without the car. Are there some cars in the prison before the mission?

Maybe if you bring 2 cars... The 1st one (a fast one!) outside the prison on the ramp. Of course bringing the first one properly is not possible by driving because you have to die to get back out... so how about using the super Arachnid from the start area to push it over the ramp? Definitely something to try!

But does the mission proceed if you leave the prison before killing guards?

edit: Quote thing is broken so used colors.
