sneakcat
Ok, so Im using Dell XPS 15, and this is basically my laptop specs: i7 processor 2.00 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 2.90 GHz 8GB DDR3 SDRAM 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics with Optimus So I added the -norestrictions command line and changed the game's graphic setting. I put the resolution to maximum (1920x1080), texture: high and the others: medium. but the game always stuck on the windows live option. after choosing NO, the music will start but the screen will freeze on that part till forever. did I change the graphic setting too high? what should I do to make it run again with the maximum graphic I could get? EDIT: ok so I tried lowering down the graphic. put the resolution to 1280x768, and medium in all aspects. still, it freezes on the starting music. AARRRGGGGHHH also there's this thing written in red on the setting screen: Resource usage: 290 / 56 Mb, followed by some warning. what does this mean? Exxon
Your laptop is using the integrated Intel GPU instead of your nVidia card, set power mode to Performance through Control Panel, then it'll probably use your nVidia card. If that doesn't work, use -gpucount 0 or -gpucount 1 in your commandline.txt
sneakcat
should I combine it with the -norestrictions commandline? should I write below it or right next to it? I tried using the high performance mode but it didn't work.
