Favorite? I don't play favorites. The Murdoc idea of earning respect doesn't wash with me either. A throwaway topic means it has little value and in a million years, no one will care or remember what was posted in it, so why banish people over their opinion?

 

The comment was off the cuff and could have lived without it, but to me a conversation involves a lot of off the cuff comments

You could always just ask your friends to not smoke when you're around, or part ways with them before they partake. If they're truly your friends, they'll support you.

 

Basically, you need willpower and maybe some support from friends (though IMO the latter is not necessary for something like pot, but YMMV)

Well it didn't. All you're doing is perpetuating the theory you moderate on bias.

 

Again, I do not care for Slamman. I wince over his off-topic ramblings. And I know his past. He probably doesn't have much time left here, but banning him when he's actually toeing the line is f*cked up.

Tell your friends to try and encourage you to stop, even if they do it around you, everyone I chill with smokes weed but they are good about it, they look up to me because I'm the only one out them strong enough to say no when the joint is getting passed around. Tell them why you want to stop and if they are your true friends they'll help you with it and give you what advice they can.

 

Just keep reminding yourself that you don't need it in your life, you clearly have reasons for wanting to stop so focus on those reasons rather than the pot itself.

This looks like Dyshidrotic eczema you can develop this if you are under significant stress or if for some reason your hands are often wet to do with work or other lifestyle factors. Try not to itch it as that will just make it worse, apply some petroleum jelly to it and it should eventually go away without any problems. Try not to wash your hands too often or use things such as perfumed soaps because they can make it worse.
