On a related note/question: didn't one of the admins (illspirit if I recall correctly) get in touch with Mr Thompson inviting him to a controlled debate on here, but he politely declined? The conditions of the discussion were more than fair if i remember reading right.

 

I don't know the story behind it all the way, but if he were to decline a debate, it could protect himself from saying something that would end up getting cherry-picked and thrown into a context that would make him look like he said something along the lines of "Grand Theft Auto is worse than the holocaust and 9/11 combined" or whatever those anti-Thompson fanatics claim he says. I personally it's a smart move on his end.

Fatty Roman got banned? I never would've known. It's a shame that you can't look at their profile anymore to see what they said to get them banned in the first place.

Nope, it's just a forums thing. On the SAMP boards that I frequent, a few people have black and white avatars.

I had a similar problem back in the sh*tposting days. I was permabanned (+1000 points), I've talked and explained things to a moderator so he removed 1 point and i could post again. So i had 999 points but i could be banned anytime. I think thats similar to the ghetto jezus problem.

 

A single point warning would get me banned.

Don't worry, Spain would be nuked. The first. Multilaterally. So you don't have to worry about nothing.

 

Seriously speaking, during the Cold War, Spain and Portugal was thought to be the only European countries spared from Soviet nukes. When Soviet had nuked the rest of Europe, they could use Spain and Portugal as leverage. Of course Russian strategy may have changed since then, but it would still make sense to spare Spain and Portugal.

Your points were cleared like I said. Not the -2 you see in your member log, but manually cleared by an admin so any further warnings you get won't result in an auto-ban again.
