Any 3D editor, but it will take a lot of practice and a long time before you can make anything that complex. If you want to try, Blender is free. It's also pretty complex. To start with something really simple, you can try Anim8or or Sektchup.

 

If you mean taking a pre-created character and customizing, yeah, there are programs that will let you do that. Most of them are part of specific game, though.

Does the forum allow you to make new servers, based on GtaF obviously, about a game that is Non-Steam?

 

I mean, I play Counter Strike, however I didn't want to play it as steam, so I downloaded the nonsteam version. Can I make a new server with events and thing that is based here, with only members from forum?

 

Or is it forbidden, because it isn't a Steam game?

If you make a server for a game like that, your server will be listed for both Steam and non-steam gamers I believe. Like andy said, I'd check to see if there's any interest before doing so. And do you have any experience with this? Hosting a server can be fairly complicated - anyone can run a LAN server, but making it available to all is a pain in the rear.

 

I don't see why not, as long as you paid for the game. They still sell CS in boxes, IIRC.

Irony is basically saying one thing to openly and obviously mean or insinuate another. Sarcasm is irony used to with the intention to mock or ridicule another person, organisation or idea.

Irony is a subtle one that's really tricky to nail down a single definition of. It can be something that's intentional, like sivis says, or it can be something unintentional. For example, getting knocked down by an ambulance would be quite ironic. Or if you want to get really meta, the fact that none of the examples given of irony in Alanis Morissette's song "Ironic" are ironic, is infact itself ironic.

Hah, surprisingly enough I don't actually have a dictionary. I did search online before posting the question, but I didn't completely understand the enormous articles on the two words; let alone any differences between the two definitions. They seemed to confuse me more.

Obviously this is a GTA forum so we all joined because of our love for the game, but am i the only one who is not a huge, huge GTA or Rockstar fan boy?

 

I came here when i started hearing all the San Andreas rumours, and i stayed because it was a good forum to be on (No spammy annoying Ads like most) Hell i liked the place

 

But in the GTA V topic i see so many literally obsessed/demented posts its unreal, some of the posts are so strong i fear for the sanity of some users.

 

Im excited for GTA V of course, but not obsessed! Am i the only one who feels like this?

I don't know where you draw the line, but I guess I'm with you.

I love GTA, but seriously... R* is just a game company. I couldn't care less about when GTA was going to be announced (I knew It was going to be announced one day).

 

But as long as R* keeps making GTA, I will keep playing them. Even if they end up being bad, they are GTA.

Is there any way that I can get an "avatar rotator" that will work with .gif (moving images) formatted images? I see that Shayan Shaffey got it working for him, but I was wondering if someone could either hit me up with a link to a site at which I can make one, or, if somebody could make me one themselves, once they have the images I wish to use.

Thanks buddy. I tried another site but it turned my .gif (moving images) to still images as if they were .png (or other image types). Thanks for the help, I'll register and try it out now.

The little image thingy icon that shows up on internet pages doesn't appear for me for GTAF the last 2 days, though it's still shows up in favorites. Just me or everyone else have it?

It's working for me. Have you recently installed anything new for your browser, such as an add-on or a new toolbar? Even if you haven't, I'd try to clear your cache. You can do this by going to "Delete browsing data", and ticking the option to clear your cache. If it still doesn't work after that, let me know.

A hard refresh (ctrl+f5) usually reloads the favicon, iirc.

I used gtahole.com and uploaded the some animated gifs that I had requested in the gfx section. I then used the personalised URL that they gave me as the URL for my avatar. But it doesn't work. Am I supposed to use that same URL the way it is or change something?

I had the same problem. I uploaded about 5 .gif's to the right section, where it said upload avatars. I went to my personal URL, and it said that Google Chrome can't connect to this website, I tried using it on the forum anyway, and it was an error image, instead of my rotator.

If you want to use the service for now(until I get off my lazy ass and make some fixes) you may want to create new accounts with out spaces in the username and use graphics without spaces in the names too.

 

And I do thank you folks for finding this issue out.

I see. I'll go over there and make a new account now. Thanks for working out what was wrong.

 

EDIT: I made a new account with no spaces, re-named all of my images and uploaded around 4-5. I clicked on my personal URL and the web-page couldn't be displayed and it won't work as my avatar, either.
