Can anyone recommend a good HDMI cable? Is there much of a substantial difference in picture/sound quality? Not hugely tech savvy here.

What exactly is a "practicing homosexual"? I google searched it and all of the results involved Christianity, so I think it had something to do with that, but I'm not sure. Can any Christian clear this up for me?

It means you're a homophobe. Not you that is, the person using the phrase.

I think it basically means someone who takes part in homosexual acts, they identify as homosexual i.e. they are "practicing" it, kind of like when you say someone practices law or medicine.

The reason you are getting results mainly involving Christianity is because I'm pretty sure it's a term mainly used by those who think homosexuality is wrong and a sin, that you have to bury that part of yourself if you have it and live a heterosexual lifestyle i.e. not practice homosexuality.

Hope that made sense and I hope I'm correct. That's how I interpret it.

I slipped a disk or pinched a nerve or did some damn thing to my back. So, what's the best way to score some heroin?

Just kidding, I already know it's strippers.

Seriously though, is there anything that will help? Every tiny movement is a new world of pain.

You just chill until you get better.

Use lots and lots of chill.

It could also be a homosexual who practices Christianity.

There should be no difference at all, HDMI is a digital carrying cable which isn't susceptible to interference from noise, the only issue is when it comes to length, but that only really kicks in once you go above 5-10meters (16ft-32ft), but even then most connections won't be that far apart and cables of that length are manufactured to category 2 standard anyway now.

But if you are just wondering to connect your TV/Console/DVD/Pokemon/Blu-ray/Computer/Laptop/George Forman Grill, then any old HDMI cable will do the job regardless of whether is it's a cheap and cheerful or a small mortgage one.

I'm pretty sure that was implied in the sentence where I said the reason the results are mainly to do with Christianity is because it's a term used mainly by Christians - heterosexual or homosexual.

Pretty much what I thought. The cable I'm currently using to connect my PS3 to my LCD was just some five quid thing I ordered from Amazon a while back, and the picture quality of Blu-rays/games/etc looks amazing. I'm planning on replacing my 7-year-old LG surround system soon, so just thought I'd ask the good members of GTAF for any reassurance.

Btw, the 'linking-your-tv-to-the-trusty Lean Mean Grilling Machine' might not be so farfetched. It could even mean my subscription to YT cooking channels may finally pay off!

Yeah; it's kind of amazing to me that Monster Cables and the like are still able to schill that sh*t. I think it's a case of affordability really hitting the roof of innovation lately, but people are still of the "if it costs more, it's better" mindset.

How is RadioShack still in business?

As long as the elderly need landlines, there will always be RadioShack.

So I'm on Rockstar Social Club trying to click on the deathmatch i just created, every time i try and do so this message occurs..

Sorry! An error occurred while processing your request.

Yet i can click on other peoples missions just fine, Why is this?

Another thing, the search filters on the social club don't seem to work, i tell it to search only for games made by people in my crew, and it either gives me nothing or Rockstar Verified games that are made by total randomers, what's happening here?

I don't know for sure what's going on with your sh*t, but I can tell you Social Club is notoriously sketchy. Check again in an hour or so.

Problem sorted, i managed to somehow get the job open on the social club and i clicked Add To Game, now it opens every time. Search Filters are still unreliable though.

Next question...

Can some PS3 players play my deathmatch? :p It's called aMAZEing.

A practicing homosexual is a homosexual who has homosexual sex. It is considered a lesser evil to have the urges than to act on them. A celibate homosexual would be non-practicing.

Sounds like a bunch of bullsh*t to me.

I've been asking myself that very question for a bunch of years now. I'm guessing they don't have too many years left. Didn't they just announce(like today) that they were closing down nearly 2k stores?

In all honesty though, I will miss Radio Shack. There is one in walking distance from my house, conveniently located next to my beer store. I do some vintage coin-op and arcade machine restoration stuff so a local Radio Shack is very nice to have (for some of the few freaks like myself).

I actually came here for a question. I'm currently living through the third snowiest winter on record here. It is also record setting for cold temperatures too.

Now someone please explain to me how a f*cking snake was in my back yard. I notice one of my dogs and one of the feral cats really interested in what I thought was a twig.

It's still a good place for hobbyists. They have lots of small parts for electronics, like capacitors and circuit boards.

"A celibate homosexual would be non-practicing." If the a person is non-practicing then (s)he can't be a homosexual. That would be more a kin to Asexual.

A homosexual who is celibate is still a homosexual, you imply that homosexual means the act of having physical sexual relations with someone of ones own sex. When in fact it means to be attracted to someone of the same sex, just setting you straight because what you said could easily be perceived as homophobic because it implies that homosexuality is an unnatural physical act rather than a natural phenomena.

Would a homosexual only be practicing if he's currently having sex with another man? This seems like a poorly thought out concept to me.

Couldn't Amazon satisfy that demand for much cheaper? Although, if I had a RadioShack that was next to a liquor store within walking distance of me, I would probably visit it more often.

From a religious standpoint there is a difference between having an impulse and acting on it. Still pretty ridiculous though!

A non-practicing homosexual could be also be having heterosexual sex, they don't need to be celibate. I don't know the justification for the distinction. Practicing is considered worse though.

I think you should consider what Celibate means. All Catholic Priests are celibate. So your saying they are all homosexuals?

I'm taking the word celibate as meaning someone who abstains from sexual activities typically but not exclusively due to religious reasons. My point was if someone has sexual feelings towards someone of the same sex they are homosexual if they act on these feelings or not for whatever reasons.

If you're celibate but have heterosexual urges then you are straight.

'Bout 400. From Here

A lot of other chemicals are found in marijuana, too—about 400 of them, many of which could affect your health. But THC is the main psychoactive (i.e., mind altering) ingredient. In fact, marijuana’s strength or potency is related to the amount of THC it contains.
