You should still be able to access the Announcement containing the forum rules here http://gtaforums.com/forum-0/announcement-7-forum-rules/

That part hasn't been added to the new forum skin yet.

Any1 having these problems with photobucket?

h5324617D_zps32b39d09.png

(I don't know if this thing is showing on the photo, but it's telling you to upgrading to photobucket.)

BTW I am not going to bother buying more space for photobucket. I've tried by deleting like 20 photos but it's not working for some reason.

Does that happen to all the photos on your account? If it's only that image, try deleting it and reuploading it again, but change the file name first.

a week ago I ate tenderloin, it was the first piece of proper meat I had. Now I crave eating meat like crazy - not as in hunger, but I feel my entire being craving biting down on some delicious meat; just chewing that sh*t. It's really making me lose concentration more than I'd like. How to stop this craving?

The more relevant question is why do people still use sh*tty services like Photobucket and tinypic. Use imgur. It's free and you won't run into any troubles like that.

I always use imgur, but at times it bugs up for me for no reason and it uploads some of my pictures with a white background instead of it being transparent like it actually is, and things like tinypic actually upload it without.

Mind you this happens rarely.

What should I do?

Fap, listen to music, play GTA or some other game, go out with your friends, eat, go to sleep.

The day imgur goes down is the day the internet stops happening.

Or the day I actually get sh*t done. I fear both equally.

imgur's buggy. Not always, but often enough for me to hate using it.

I wanna suggest http://postimage.org/. Functionally it does almost everything imgur does (drag and drop too, even though it doesn't look like it), without the reddit stuff tacked on, and it even keeps the original file names!

Also I'm being payed by postimage to say all this. ;)

The only image host I like 'was' ImageShack.com, however they are now going commercial and want a fee.

How do those fancy banknote counters like you see in Scarface work? Counting all them bills up and stuff.

Pictures uploaded in imgur are publicy avaliable, right? Also, as far I know, if they don't have a total amount of views in a month they get deleted.

I rather to keep my pictures private. I used to have an Imageshack account that worked fine but now, after more than three years of use, they have turned the site for pay.

Anyone have or know where I can find the below background, but with the red sky replaced with a blue one?

space_WP_red.jpg

I've seen it before with a blue sky, I'm just having no luck finding it now.

e: Never mind, it was actually the same image set to grayscale. The glow on the moon looked kind of blue.

Photobucket images aren't exactly private, either. Even if you set your album to private, Photobucket's code is so full of holes that there are almost always ways to view all of your images so long as you have a link to one of them.

I just tried switching the channels around to make it blue, and it looks alright. Try doing that with GIMP. See if you like it.

I heard for canadians using netflix they can change their IP address somehow to an american one and will have the american version of netflix which has more shows and such. Is this true?? And how can it be done?

The only way to change your IP to that of another country is to run connection through a proxy, and most of these are too slow for streaming TV.

(There are some spoofing techniques, but they aren't useful in this particular case.)

What are using to watch Netflix?

If it's a console, it's not your IP you change it's your DNS servers. You set up your Internet connection and manually add American DNS servers to trick it into thinking you are streaming from the US. At least this is how it works if you are trying to get US Netflix in the UK through PS3 (I've done it).

If through browser, you can try something like the Hola Unblocker extension for Chrome https://hola.org/

I once caught a virus from the ImageShack homepage a few years ago without even clicking/downloading/accepting anything (I believe it was from one of the ads on the site). It was my own fault for using Internet Explorer, but I still won't go back there again.

Virus or no virus they are much less reliable than imgur (most images I have uploaded to Imageshack have now disappeared, none of Imgur's have) and the uploading interface is very versatile for imgur: you can drag and drop files onto the browser window, you can paste both files and images from the clipboard and they are interpreted properly. There are also programs such as Hyperdesktop that allow you to instantly upload full/partial screenshots from your computer to imgur without even visiting the site.

That can't possibly be right. At least, not the way it works right now. Once you obtained IP for the host from the DNS, the DNS is no longer involved. You simply establish a TCP connection with host's IP address. Where you got that IP from isn't mentioned.

Now, I suppose, DNS servers in different countries could give you different IP addresses, but netflix.com has a short list of name servers, and all of them resolve to the same IP. Just to make sure, I've ran a ping request from dozens of countries on every continent but the cold one, and I got the same IP for netflix.com from each one. So the DNS can't possibly make a difference.

Perhaps, at some point, DNS was used to filter incoming traffic by countries, but it certainly isn't the case now. The only way you are going to get Netflix to recognize you as accessing from a specific country is with use of proxy.

Hola, on the other hand, should work, since that's a proxy service. My only concern would be for the speed of the connection, but it's worth a try.

OMGOMGOMG I think I got it to work by changing the DNS. Can anyone with American Netflix tell me if their most recently added movies to netflix are:

Mystery Files: Alexander the great, Air Distasters, A fistful of Dollars, Crocodile Dundee 2.

Because I'm pretty damn sure I didn't have these on my original canadian one! Plus theres movies like a Mitt Romney documentary... haha

I see some of these, but I see them even if I switch my DNS over to Canadian one. Like I said, we all get the same IP from the DNS, so it's not going to matter. Try a proxy service.
