Honestly, it's designed as a test of character for the initiate and has nothing to do with the community as a whole. We don't want members that take themselves too seriously. We all did it and if someone has a problem with it, they are just not the kind of member we're looking for. It's just as simple as that.

to create your own gang you would at least need a good handful of people who want to be in it.
