I have a question. Actually a few.

Why can people see if they've had "visitors" or shall I say "creepers" look at their profile. I want to look, but I don't want to come up on someone's list... >.>

Also, do guys actually get random boners out of no where everyday for no reason?

And why is it that I am so bored that I have resorted to being a bitch to people on youtube comments. Ultimate lowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

  • Because this is the internet and you can't do anything about it.
  • Yes, but not everyday.
  • Because this is how human psychology works.

Don't? Then go anonymous in the login page, not sure if it works but alright. Ah, i think not. But don't worry, no one cares. I just wonder What a pisser put a bad rating star thingy on me.

I get the random boners thing in the morning, its shamefull because.. Well you can tell it is... Exited, but i am not! I actually don't have a clue on why it gets that way. Don't judge a boner. It is bad to walk with it. Weren't you a guy btw from the last few coments? Are you a guy and NEVER had the morning solid snake?

Bored? Well, not much someone can help trough here. Also, being a f*cker on youtube is not rare at all, heh.

If you sign in anonymously your name shouldn't show up when you go creeping.

As for the random boners throughout the day, that happens to me often but mostly only when I see GW or Shoumic.

Because they're assholes, f*ck youtubers.

Edit:

Rewas gives me quite the throbber too. <3

And Andreas is the staff member that makes my staff member gushy with... joy. <3

Triple Vacuum Seal

After a minor car accident, the heads were damaged on my hard drive from the jolt. I don't want to run the laptop any longer as it will further damage the drive, but I want to salavage some files. Though the diagnostic said "hard drive not found" my computer must have some access to the data still since the screensaver (picture from the drive) still loads and I can browse the drives files in windows explorer. Is there a way to get the files from the drive without running it again? I'm clueless here

We could be doing "Rate the cat above you" right now if Otter wasn't such a party pooper.

Yeah I know!! I had the perfect cat for that one :((

The screensaver is probably cached somewhere for faster loading times, its unlikely the OS uses the original picture. You could try various file recovery software, but each will eventually require you to run the actual drive. Also try this forum for more luck

I remember a tea topic. Why wasn't that locked?

Clearly a personal agenda against threads that I make, but i'm not going to get worried about it. There are about 500 other threads that should be locked if that one needs to be, such as "How do you like your eggs in the morning?"

So it's expected to go back 10+ pages and revive a 2 year old thread on this forum board? That's a first.

It's actually common and encouraged practice around here that we utilise the Search function before making new topics :^:

Hey guys, need someone who's good at English here:

Is this something you can say:

Colleagues who help you if you are having a difficult time.

Now it should be about people going through a difficult period in their life (divorce, dead children, war, etc.) and as far as I know the above means you're having trouble finishing a certain assignment.

I thought it should be:

Colleagues who help you if you are going through a difficult/rough/hard time.

Are they both possible? Which one would you recommend?

The first one sounds incomplete. "Having a difficult time" is usually used in combination with an action (doing something), in this case coping with divorce, death, etc. So, the correct way to use the first variant would be "Colleagues who help you if you are having a difficult time coping\dealing with with X."

The second one is correct the way it is.

Both of them are fragmented/incomplete sentences. Don't use the first one for the reasons Cristian noted.

You could use "Colleagues can help you if you are going through a difficult/rough/hard time." That would work fine. You could use what you have in the middle of another sentence, too. Maybe use "One of the best aspects of the workplace is that you can find colleagues who help you if you are going through a difficult/rough/hard time." Something like that.

Both of the sentences are incorrect. 'Colleagues who help you if you are going through a difficult/hard/rough time' sounds like a bad merging together of two meanings in one sentence, how about something a bit different and dramatic like 'If you are now going through a difficult/hard/rough time in your life, surround yourself with people who can make your life better.'

How do you post a link to somebody's post?

See that number with a # in the upper right corner? Click in the simbol next to so it pops a window with the link to that post.

Thanks guys, but it's a statement in a psychological test and candidates have to rate how important the statement is to them (on a scale of 1 to 5), other statements are:

Being your own boss

Setting your own objectives etc.

So they are ment to be fragmented. Though "help" could possibly be replaced with "support", as you can't really "help" someone who's going through a difficult time.

Colleagues who support you if(when?) you are going through a difficult time.
