You can still see their posts, just not their profiles. Chances are though that if it was a post bad enough to get them banned in the first place it will have been deleted when they were banned anyway.

Quite concrete explanation but sometimes their last post history could also be the drive towards their banning, even if the topic or their post was deleted, for example tracking the post history of Slamman; I can definitely see in his current post history that's he's becoming a troll and there you can see the full development to his banning in the forums. Anyway thanks for the tips.

I know it's a noob question since the forum update, but why did the staff removed the ability to view banned members? I'm looking for their posts that made them banned here in the forums.

That's part of why. People tend to make complaints and use links to the "last" posts. Except, the real "last" post is usually in the bin, where it's only seen by moderators anyways.

You don't have to use their ID. You can just enter their username into the search function and get the exact same result, I just tried.

Verbal Commendations that you received on the old boards carried over to the new forums. They are listed as warnings just like verbal warnings, temp-bans, etc., but you can still distinguish the differences. If you are reading your warn log, and look at the verbal commendation(s) you received prior the forum update, it still says "The following reason was given for this commendation" in the message.

 

No changes have been done to logs so far, as you know. You have to assume that the warning system on the old forum was heavily modified. On stock IPB 1.3, there are only warnings and bans listed in the log, no commendations whatsoever. The same goes for the current version of the board. As for medals, they disappeared completely, not even the log entries are on the new boards. I have no idea if this is subject to change.

No. Twice I've died in dreams and woke up alive. Once I was shot in the back and realized(in dream) that I was dying. Everything was going black and i thought "this is what it is like to die"? The other was a violent accident where I was well aware of my crushed beyond belief body.

It's just one of those silly urban myths, like "Getting square eyes if you watch too much TV" or "Getting arrested if you feel a girl up". It doesn't actually happen. I've died in my dreams countless times, usually from falling from a great height, but I've never once woken up dead.
