Definitely not. An SSD has an expected life span of 5-10 years with normal use. However, if you chose to defragment it frequently then you might lose a couple of years off that. It's still considerably more sustainable compared to a HDD's average life span of around 3 years.

Because the idea is that Niko is a foreigner and is therefore more likely to be a terrorist by the authorities, Johnny is an American so he can get past without worrying.

But it's closed because of fears of a terrorist-attack, and in GTA IV there is police and police-vehichles blocking, but there is not police blocking the bridges in TLAD.

I can't remember exactly, but it could be because TLAD happens in the same time after the bridges are unblocked, like how TBoGT starts at the bank robbery mission (is that after unlocking Alderney...?)

 

Edit: considering three leaf clover is the mission that unlocks Alderney, and the first TLAD mission to cross with IVs is close to this, it's understandable for the bridges to be unlocked, if I'm thinking about this correctly.

TLAD starts before "No Love Lost" mission and before Jason is killed. At that time, the bridges to Algonquin are closed.

 

I think that R* just wanted to make the map open, or simply didn't care since the game was more focused on Alderney than Broker/Dukes or Algonquin.

Thanks for the info. I always thought they could protect at one of two impacts. I guess that a 3rd WW in the Cold War would have had more casualties than I thought...

 

About the PASGT helmet, it can actually protect from a long range shot right? I saw somewhere a video where someone was hit in the head and the helmet saved his life.

EDIT: I believe the reason for his ban was the troll account (fatty roman) and the fact that he made a fake thread about the GTA Five O'cock map getting posted.
