and it has quite a good story, but it is the first of a series of films so you may have to get the others in th series at a later date to get more of the story

At what point was nothing interesting happening? You must have the attention span of a foot. Some scenes were dragged out, but that was the point.

I'm honestly more partial to Platoon. Apocalypse Now is brilliant, but is kind of thematically awkward since it follows a story from a different setting (Heart Of Darkness, which is in Africa and doesn't actually depict war), though that does lead it to take a pretty unique perspective. Kind of like it's giving you a tour of Vietnam while not really dedicating itself to any one thing aside from the hunt for Kurtz.

 

That said, watch the Redux of Apocalypse Now, the scene in the French manor is easily one of my favorites

I remember talking to a friend who claimed to be a satanist. He said he believed in god, satan, heaven, angels, etc. but he believed that you should ignore all of what the good book says to live life how you think it should be lived. I think he was just calling himself a satanist to be edgy, but whatever.

I need some help. Basically my dad had curly hair and he went bald around 30 or something, so his father (my grandfather), he went bald as well; my mother have straight hair like both of my grandmothers and their hair hasn't fell. I am not sure about my mom's father because I never met him and I don't have the informations but I think he wasn't bald when he died. My aunt, my mom's sister and her daughters, my cousins respectively have straight hair and no problems with fall. There are various particles such as quarks and bosons (for instance the Higgs boson which was spotted recently at the Large Hadron Collider).

 

Everything smaller than protons, neutrons and electrons are pretty complicated, come in all sorts of 'colours' and 'flavours' and are still being investigated. You can find out more here.

 

At the moment these particles aren't very relevant to today's technology so anyone but particle physicists don't really need to worry about them, but I'm sure there will come a time when they will matter a lot more (pun intended ).

I also thought about that one. I dont know how to explain in english, but I just mean that just like there is a unending amount of systems in the universe (like solar system< galaxies<...), there is an unending system of the tiny things around us (like molecules>atoms>quarks>...).

They're called macrocosms (large-scale stuff) and microcosms (small-scale stuff) (And here's a wiki link.) It's incredibly hard to think that the largest parts of the macrocosm are completely controlled by the smallest parts of the microcosms working together.

 

There's an old book that covers the concepts that I found on my dad's bookshelf. I also remember it covering infinities, cosmological optics, and atoms. Here's the book if anyone wants to check it out. (It's also pretty easy to find online for free.)
