It is a downgraded version 2 disc copy if that helps, now version 1. No mods installed.

But, Downgrading is a form of Mod and doesn't make the game a V1 exe. It just removes the programming that blocks modding. So if no mods are installed why downgrade?

I don't know much about the backwards compatibility and emulation issues but it was my understanding that my ps3 - although it's an older "fat" 80Gb type - was one of the later models and didn't support ps2 games. I'm yet to try sticking a ps2 game into it to see what happens mind you.

 

I was wondering about the ps2 games you can download from PSN though. Do they work on all ps3s or only certain models?

 

Also, I was thinking of buying the Resident Evil 1,2 and 3 ps1 bundle pack but it notes that this contains the US NTSC versions of RE2 and 3. Being a UK resident, I'm wondering if this is even going to work? I wouldn't have thought it would be available here if it didn't but just not sure. Can anyone enlighten me please?

I wouldn't bother. I have the exact same model and when you put a PS2 game in it just says something like unsupported media.

Yeah, I would've thought they'd tell you if it wasn't going to work but I didn't really fancy gambling 20 quid to find out. I still use my ps2 and have plenty of games for it so I wasn't really planning on buying any ps2 games on psn. I was just curious.

 

I am more interested in the regions issue though. Anyone know if US NTSC versions of PS1 games downloaded through PSN work on PAL systems?

Try viewing it from your history. Believe it or not, it works sometimes, the site works for me fine by the way. If the history trick fails, clear cache, clear history.

 

If anyone could enlighten me as to why I can only view some sites through my history, that would be great.

Just like everyone else they decide whether they have a goal or not. An atheist's goal might be to have a kid who's successful, or to help clean up the environment, or maybe just to get through life with as few problems as possible.

By being happy. You don't achieve happiness by fulfilling a goal, it's just a mood that comes on to you. If you mean "fulfilled", I don't think anyone, theist or not, can ever feel truly fulfilled. You're always going to want the next best thing that you don't have.

Ok, so I've gotten back into track racing games again (simulators, whatever you wanna call them). Currently, I am playing Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed. Can anyone recommend any simulators like this one? I love the graphics, and the handling of the cars. I've already played Forza simulators, but I'm looking for something more like Shift 2 Unleashed.
