Any other Chrome users that have suddenly noticed that their right click context menus and bookmark folders and such have grown in size? They seem to be more Metro-ish in design. I find it horrid due to the amount of space each option takes up. I'm hoping that this is some isolated incident instead of a new feature.

Same for me as well. I actually like the new look. Doesn't take up that much space.

Oh. My list of bookmarks used to fit entirely on the screen, taking up about 80% of vertical space. Now I had to fiddle about with a scrollbar. Eh, I guess I'll get used to it or find some work around.

anyway I put the CD in my laptop which has windows 7 64 bit OS and it won't install

 

my copy uses something called "sold out" to do the install and the sold out menu opens and when I click install the installer does not come up, it just goes back to the sold out menu.

 

can someone please tell me how to install this game onto my computer? in simple terms please.

Windows 7 Killed the DOS games. If you Google you may find a program that will simulate DOS.

I too have dozens of DOS games that are 'for me' now useless.

AND, the NEW Windows 8 is killing the old games like San Andreas.

Did you try to find something called setup on the disk? Games using strange menus as beginning of instalation process usually have setup for fixing all the problems with the menu.

I was about to post how annoying this is. I hope they have the smart idea to give you a choice on the size, as now its down to the end of the page and I don't think I can add anything else.

DOSbox! (Here it is!) - It's a free DOS emulator.

 

If you know how to use DOS, mount the game. Otherwise just drag and drop the game onto DOSbox's icon and you should be able to play.

Right. I checked the release history for Chrome, but there wasn't anything about redesigned menus in the release notes. I guess I could try uninstalling and then re-installing a previous version. Otherwise, it might be some simple line of code that can be changed in the Chrome folders. I will investigate a bit.

 

edit - Installing Chrome ver. 25 and then disabling automatic updates will bring back the old menu size. It's quite an annoying process though. Might be better to just get used to them, lol.

His full name was revealed to be Claude Speed in a Facebook app R* created a couple of years ago:

 

 

Prior to this and San Andreas, the name "Claude" was found in one of the files belonging to III. It was apparently the default name for the player and a feature where you could enter your own name was planned but removed sometime before the release.
