The first one was locked because it was a sh*tfest and the second one was also locked because it was a sh*tfest. Unpopular opinions are unpopular opinions for a reason. A third topic is just going to end in the same result.

Is it ok to use sounds from other games, as long as I say what game it's from?

 

I am asking, because after I release Car sound V2 1/2 and TVR Speed 12 sound mod, I will be making a GT5 Sound pack.

 

I am using the Jaguar XJR-9 Sounds and Nomad DIablo sound.

One reason I've seen is when you attempt to post a picture from your own computer rather than a 'hosting' service.

Another is when the Source website has a lock on direct posting.

It's a bit slippery. So long as application is not commercial, you might be covered by Fair Use. Otherwise, it's technically a copyright violation, unless the sounds were under public license to begin with. In practice, what it comes down to is whether the copyright holders decide to slap you with cease-and-desist or not. Whether it's actually Fair Use won't matter in that case, because you don't have the money to hire the lawyers that will be able to prove so anyhow. On the plus side, they aren't going to waste money on a law suit either, so long as you comply with cease-and-desist letter.

 

I'm definitely not the right person to actually give legal advice, but if it was me, I would have gone ahead with it, credited the source, and be prepared to pull the plug on the whole thing if I do get a nasty letter from their legal team.

Sometimes it can be to do with the cache on the other persons computer or even your cache it's an annoying little problem that does go away but then comes back again, the text is just a place holder (presuming you are using Firefox) but if you right click it you should have the option for copying the link location or image location, if so copy and paste it in a new window.

Take 1 minute and make a quick HTML page that is just two iframes of YouTube. Quick and dirty.

You can have multiple tabs opened with various amounts of videos playing in each, that's if your browser or memory can allow it, not forgetting the bandwidth you'll need to stream them all and get them loaded up into your cache.

 

But if you are viewing You Tube videos then you are technically downloading. But if you mean that you are trying to watch multiple You Tube videos and they are stopping or one isn't working then, it's probably due to bandwidth, the best thing would be to watch one fully and let it store in your cache then re-watch it whilst watching the other and letting that stream/download into your cache.

You completely misunderstood haha.

Sgt. Foley meant he wanted to open two tabs, have two videos playing, but put the tabs side by side so he can watch both videos at the same time on one screen by switching tabs.

What happens if I power a device with AC and the conductor (cable) I'm using cannot deliver the amount of power necessary for the device?

 

Will the conductor heat up or will the device simply fail to work? Or does it depend on the situation (what kind of device it is, power difference between conductor and device etc)?

I've got AC:II, Brotherhood & III .. and now am going for Revelations .. never played the first AC, should i go for that one aswell?

No don't get the first one. I played it when it came out and I liked it even though it got boring and repetitive after a while. Then I played AC:II and then when I tried playing the first one, I hated it. So go for Revelations only. And try for Sleeping Dogs too if you get a chance, as its a great but short game.
