About the girl, I don't know her that well and I've not really spoken to her before but I know we share common interests, I just don't know how to approach her without looking like a creep/stalker. I really don't know how anyone could do it, I have trouble speaking with my friends let alone to a person I've not really spoken to before and in trying to win them over.

Well you can try your best and force yourself into it, or just lightly practice, these things come with time. I never used to be able to meet new people well around that 12-14 age but I learned very fast when new people meant new girls haha, just practice talking to new people bit by bit, then you can hold a conversation with anyone, about anything at anytime.

Have you checked your PC temperatures?

Download HWMonitor to see if any of the temperatures are very high, you might have a component that's overheating.

In the Text Layer of your time line just right click and 'insert text media' It will bring up another screen for you to type your text, pick fonts, colors, effects and all that stuff.

@nate: Just to clarify is the noise then coming out of the speakers when you plug in the external speakers and/or headphones.

 

If it is then it could be something software based that it generating the noise, have you got any background programs running, like instant messengers, notifiers, download managers (mainly audio/video ones) or accelerators. You should also consider a virus scan as well in case you've got some 3rd party program causing this, also maybe check what webpages you've got open in case of of these has those annoying adverts that make noise when you don't want them to.

It maybe the HDD on the way out! does it still do it with sound disabled completely? my old hdd made a sound like a high pitch beep every now and again not long before it went kaput!

yes. any audio output, headphones, external speakers is where the noise happens

 

and i always have skype running never happened before. so may be a virus then, right will initiate scan. thanks crokey

And that is the reason I no longer produce machinima and stuff of the like. It take weeks of work just to get 30 seconds of something good as a final product. I just don't have that much free time anymore .

 

If it helps. You can also do one text event and then just copy/paste it - double click it - change the text. That way you aren't having to go through so many steps for adding each text event.

If you're using mIRC [or pretty much any other IRC client], you can just set any sound file to alert you when someone joins/talks/etc.

@4 Bagger, I'm not certain but I think it's usually within about 24-48 hours, sometimes a bit quicker.

 

Here's my question. Why do dogs do that thing where they kick dirt and mud onto their crap? My dog always does it, but she's not very good at it. Often it's not even aimed at her sh*t she just does it wherever she feels like doing it, she flicks it at me quite a lot. So whilst I'm bending down and picking her sh*t up (with a bag, cos I'm fancy like that) I have bits of grass and mud flicked into my face. It's like she doesn't even know what the hell she's doing, she just does it because something in her messed up her brain tells her to do it.

 

What purpose does it serve? It just seems pointless and bizarre, with no apparent reason for them to do it? And is it just dogs, or do other animals do it as well?

What's the difference between today's high end 64-bit processors and a 64-bit processor on an N64 console? I currently still have a 32-bit OS and I'm pretty darn sure my PC is a bit stronger than the N64. I won't exactly be able to give you a completely scientific explanation, but the big bang theory never stated that the bang came from nothing. Sure, there was no matter or time before the bang, but there was still an immense amount of energy. When the energy exploded, a part of it got mass, and that's what we see as all matter. A simple read of the Wikipedia page about the big bang will give you a much better explanation than I'm providing here.
