So he's actually clocked a girl, full force, in the face, in school? I find it stranger that some of your peers haven't dealt with him yet.

Maybe things are just different in the North.

I'm on a very strict last warning at my school. If i get in trouble one more time I'm kicked out so I can't do sh*t.

Would he get in trouble if enough people actually tell a teacher?

We don't know because we don't know how strict you're school is but he should get in trouble for that.

You make me wonder, why did you hit the girl?

You didn't pull your knife, again, did you?

And YES, worry. If/when they turn you in you'll hang.

Wait what?

I hope to god your being sarcastic cos I never stoop that low.

I'd be greatly ashamed of myself if I did that.

Like my friend said "Only cowards hit women"

And to remain on topic:

Why say that? really?

He's not recalling that he hit the girl, but a peer of his did.

I have no clue what that even means.

If I must, must I use names?

I really wish you lot wouldn't think of me as that sort of person, It's kinda upsetting to think you lot think I'd do that, even I'm better than that and I'm just a 14 year old boy who acts like a smartarse..... yes agree with me all you want on that statement.

New question, What is it about music that everyone hears something different, and that it's so SOUL inspiring? I don't think anyone really knows

Yeah Nate, I was concerned that people read you wrong and thought it was you that hit a girl.

No need to name the names of your friends here since we don't know them.

As far as knowing someone who hit a girl. Just tell everyone you know(that also knows him). He will be forever branded a dickhead that hits girls, and that should be some good punishment.

I have a question:

Does anyone here have bad reactions to mosquito bites? One little bite on me usually turns into something resembling a large land mass. I'm looking for a nice home remedy - not to reduce the swelling, but more for relief from the burning itch.

Nathan, it is sad to say, but you have shown quite a temper on these forums. And in my life it has much too often been the case that when repeated questions for a 'friend' are made it turns out that the questioner is the 'friend'. Thus the thought monocle.gif surfaces in my postings.

Thank you, I'll tell some of my other friends about him.

I think you ccan get special Mosqito ( can't spell it) bite cream from a chemist or request some from your doctor, depending how bad it is.

@Lil Weasel I fully understand where your coming from, like in a Simpsons episode where Marge becomes a handywoman and Homer takes all credit and asks Kent "What would you do if this work was done by a woman?"

I'm defending you here, I'm saying it wasn't you who hit her.

About the people on this forums, just ignore them and try not to take them seriously. Also, just pointing out that there's no need to write 'sh*t' like '$hit' or anything, the word filter will do it for ya' wink.gif

Well first of all I'm pretty sure itching and scratching the area around the bite will irritate it even more, causing more swelling and redness. If you have an urge to really itch it, just don't. I had a mosquito bite on my ankle last week which grew into a large bump due to itching it constantly. I just decided to stop it and the redness and swelling began to decrease as time went by.

Or, bug bite medicine.

Go out and try to find one of these plants in your yard. They grow almost anywhere in North America and they're easily identifiable by the veins on the back of each leaf, that all branch out from the bottom in different directions and do not come into contact with each other. Chew it up until it's almost a paste (yeah, it doesn't taste too good, just ignore the taste) and then rub it on the bite.

Sounds strange, I know, but I've seen this sh*t make a wasp sting disappear in less than thirty minutes. It's impressive stuff, and best of all, it's free.

Language is not genetic. Tell your friends to pay attention in biology class.

Is there any "guide" ever been made for doing good reports?

I mean what exactly is worth a report? Or doesn´t that care much, better one more then one less? How much does this bother staff at all?

It would be like saying an accent is genetic. Language, in it's entirety, is an acquired trait. If you really want to prove it scientifically, albeit depressingly, you could show them the case of Genie (just a warning, it's seriously f*cking depressing, like losing-faith-inhumanity depressing) where this girl missed out on the critical period of language acquisition, and was never really able to learn to communicate in English despite being completely absorbed into an English speaking society, and if it matters her parents were native English speakers.

You could easily be socially conditioned to be better at English through your father though, I'd be willing to bet he speaks to English friends in English, has English books, uses English websites and stuff right? Just being around that stuff as a child you'll take in at least a tiny amount, especially considering language acquisition is at its easiest for people during early childhood.

No english friends in Norway, no books, and who the hell doesn't use english websites xD But I appreciate that utterly depressing stuff

Yeah, what's the red light to the side of your laptop when you have ethernet cable plugged in for? It blinks and I'm just wondering what's it for.

Not really a tech guy or anything.

I think it just means it's transferring data, but I'm not sure. That was the case when the ethernet port on my router kept blinking.

It just means it's transferring data, it should have two lights, one for Download and another for Upload, I've never seen a red one, so I guess it's downloading.

Good day. I wish to create a website and have been told I could do so on a site called GoDaddy.com.

Whilst I am aware that I can buy a website name from this place, is it any good at actually giving you to the tools to create a site? Or is there anywhere else I could go? This is all new to me, but it's something I've always wanted to do.
