Have A Question? V2

And how do we know that the music he is trying to download does not come from a copyright-holder that is approving the download in the description?

Its the same case when someone is asking a question about uTorrent. The only answer he is going to get is about piracy, even though the member has plans to use the software in a legit way.

Using that kind of software in the context StoneHead was alluding to is not legit at all.

The law of piracy isn't limited to just selling copyrighted content, it also involves (unfortunately) copying it in any way when it hasn't been purchased.

Looking for a good gaming headset at a reasonable price, so far I narrowed it down to these 2:

X-Tatic SR

SteelSeries 5H V2

Thoughts or some other recommendations?[/color]

I've got a pair of Corsair Vengeance 1300's. Great headset, especially for the price. I'd definitely recommend that you check them out.

Are they comfortable even after a few hours of gaming?

They even have a shade of blue in them, I am a sucker for that when it comes to my PC, haha.

They are very comfortable. The ear cups are made of a pleather material with lots of foam. And there is indeed a blue ring around each ear. The headset is exactly how it looks in the pictures. Comes with a nice high quality cable too that is probably like 6 or 7 feet long. And they have a two year warrantey with Corsair's great support.

Question:

Can someone PLEASE shed more light on this band... "Front Office"

I came across them not so long ago and i am completely hooked, but also completely stumped at the sheer lack of info on the internet. No pictures, no info on who the band members are, no info about where they are from, no gigs, only this ONE song / video. Not even released as a single on any format, only released by Arf Arf records and Scrap Records, don't even know when the track was made. Google and Discogs have pretty much NO info on them, apart from these releases, which are psychedelic rock / garage compilation CD's from the early 90's, with obscure, rare unknown songs making up the track lists.

My rock mates are also stumped and clueless, never heard of Front Office but are equally impressed by this song. Some of my other music mates believe it is the only song Front Office ever made, and was probably found on old tapes by the label who released the compilation CD. No one has been able to find info on them that is not on Discogs. The info about them on Discogs is so brief and vague, it's almost like the band never existed.

I NEED more info on Front Office, i NEED more tracks from them, i need more music like this in my life. If someone could provide ANY more info on the band, i'd be eternally greatful.

Only info I could find sums it up in that nothing is known about them and could possibly be a one-hit wonder.

EDIT: Although searching "Front Office" wow band mijji seems to bring up a few more interesting things.

Holy sh*t, they released this on vinyl? Cheers mate, you are literally the first person to offer ANY more info on front office. Might have to hunt this vinyl DOWN.

EDIT : Can't seem to find any trace of Mijji records on discogs, ebay or google. WTF, atleast i know the band is from San Jose and made the track in 1967 now. How im gonna get hold of this vinyl is completely beyond me however. So rare.

Found some guy who claims to have it for sale in some google group, £50. Still can't find it on ebay or discogs. I'll keep both eyes out.

The Vengeance 1300's use 50mm drivers, whereas those X-Tatic's use 40mm drivers which aren't as good.

Hey guys I am in a quandary in my life right now. I need to choose a career path. Right now IT is looking as the preferred choice as its the most fun and satisfying field for me.

The question is what area of IT is easier and harder than others?

I was thinking of Network Administration but I hear this is very hard further down the line. Is it?

IT support 1st/2nd/3rd line is also a choice of mine. Would it be easier than the former?

I know most might say do what you would enjoy but I need to know whether one is too hard for me to do. I really don't think Network Administration is easy at all.

To be perfectly honest, I would really, really make sure IT is what you want to do before you step into any IT field.

I'm yet to hear of an IT job that doesn't suck the life out of you day in day out.

I'm rubbish with computers, so I was wondering if someone could please tell me whether or not my laptop is capable of playing Victoria II (it's a strategy game):

Victoria II requirements:

Sound:Direct X-compatible sound card

DirectX®: DirectX 9

Controller support: 3-button mouse, keyboard and speakers

LAN or Internet Connection for multiplayer

My system (Acer Aspire 5740):

Operating system: Windows 7

Processor: Intel® Core i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13 GHz, 2133 Mhz, 2 cores, 4 logicical processors

SMBIOS: version 2.6

Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 3.00 GB

Thanks guys. Well it said the video card is not good enough on that website, but from what I've seen of the game on youtube it doesn't seem particularly as though the graphics are that good or would require a great graphics card. Like I said it's a strategy game, and it's mostly just maps lol. Here's the game:

As I also said my laptop plays the Sims 3 and Civ 5, albeit on the lower specs, perfectly fine. And they both seem like their graphics are much better. I don't know what my graphics card is, or even how to see what it is (noooob), but it should still play it right?

Edit: Ok cheers Warlord.

So I've finally decided to get with the times and start gaming in HD blush.gif

I'd like to know are there any specific TV's in the UK market (preferably available on the highstreet) which are really decent for gaming (e.g. no input lag, really good sound and picture)???

I'd ideally like to spend under £400, and have been thinking a Sony Bravia would be ideal for a Sony ps3, but they're not cheap, and I've read mixed reviews.

Any help and answers appreciated.

Does anyone have good specs under $1,000-$500 that may be able to play GTA V? (Or at least play IV maxed with 30+FPS?)

Me and my dad are going to build a gaming PC, and we need some good specs that are between $500-1,000 and can play games like GTA IV on highest settings with no lag and 30FPS+. colgate.gif

Oh yeah, so does anyone have some good specs that I can use that are $1,000 or lower? colgate.gif

Help me damnmit, I want to play some f*cking modded PC games. (Like IV and V when it hits PC. sneaky2.gif )

Ask in the PC section, I could easily do a build but I'm on mobile till like next week.

I never use IE for surf internet. IE sucks! IE slows like hell. I use Firefox and Google Chrome. It works fine for me.

My farts smell rancid tonight, why is that?

I don't know lol.gif

Maybe because of food that you just eat.
