Two questions

1. Hard question: The same of a video game / possible movie.

I played it in the 90s on either the SNES or PS1, and from what I remember you were a wizard that flew on a magic carpet.

I can't quite remember if the game was a movie tie-in or a stand alone game.

 

I know it's not a hell of a lot to go on, but it was sparked when I saw something about harry potter.

2. Name of a disney movie: was an animated film, started with a kid in his bed falling asleep. Then i think the windows open and sh*t flies around his room before his bed takes flight, dumping him into another reality. When he gets there he meets an off season santa clause guy riding on a train and gives him a key to a door of evil goo. Which then he proceeds to open the door and the black goo corrupts everything, then the kid rides in on his bed to find its a devil/beast/minator thing behind the evil black goo.

If you're implying that you want to be a mod, then as much as a good friend you are I have to say no. Not if you imply you want to be a mod.

 

Also, to be a moderator I think you may want to contribute more in all sections of the forum overall (this goes for everyone). As well as always be mature, use appropriate spelling of things, know the members and sections, be respectful towards everyone and etc.

 

Besides, you've been here for like 3 months so I would expect a moderator to have 3 or 4 years at least of GTAForums experience and have quite a few posts (around 4k) and have these posts be valuable to the forums. The current staff have to look at this certain person and say

 

"Wow, that dude really helps us around the forums, always active and respectful to everyone, obeying the rules and helping others out. This person shows a mature attitude and has put a lot of effort in their posts."

 

I have no experience as a moderator so all I am saying is basically a few assumptions I made, however I do think they may be believable.

1. It isn't it while it seemingly fits the bill I remembered another small detail while looking at your answers. It's a 2d game or rather not a 3d rendered world like 'magic carpet' which sort of puts the whole PS1 idea on hold and back to it most likely being a SNES game or an early PS1 maybe.

Is it normal for AntiVirus to slow PC's down? Ever since I installed Microsoft Security Essentials my PC seems to lag more.

Yes TheNathanNS they do. And, when downloading and installing new data they sometimes take control of your computer making it almost impossible to navigate or post to the forums, continue playing games, etc.

 

Well, Master Headhunter that does it for me. Now it sounds like a kiddy (or learning) game.

I recently started getting back into my DS, apparently it's been a sleep mode for over a year now. I've been thinking maybe I should get back into the ol' Pokemon craze as well but which should I get, HeartGold Version or Black Version?

Very active, from what I know of.

Depends how you look at it.

 

There's 3 groups - Catspider, GTA Net, and GTA Forums. Catspider and GTA Net are mostly everybody-does-their-own-thing, and they don't do much community stuff in terms of group events, etc. GTAF has some TF2 meetups every few weeks or so, and we still have more members joining every week (we're at like 65 right now).

 

They're mostly just for show, to show off your GTAF-ness when people look at your profile.

 

I have no idea who half of the people in the group are though.

 

@mrpain - the newer ones suck. I'd get firered or leafgreen. I hear pearl/diamond are good too.

I bought White this year as my first DS pokemon game and thought it was amazing but then I went on to buy HeartGold, which brought back so much nostalgia that I ended up loving just as much, if not more. If you're one for reliving memories, I recommend you buy HeartGold/SoulSilver and then decided whether you want to take a swing at Black/White. I've never played Diamond/Pearl so I can't comment on them but I have no intention of buying them xD

Audacity (Free.) and YouTube Downloader should start you off right.

As for songs you need accapellas and instrumentals.

Accapellas are just the vocals of the song NO background music.

Instrumentals are entirely opposite as they have no voice but only have the instruments in it.

Mash-ups meaning you'll have to use 1 accapella and 1 instumental and speeding the accapella to the speed of the instrumental and editing the pitch so you don't end up with Chipmunks version.

Yes. Law enforcement is not delegated to school authorities on school grounds, everything you do there is the same as in the street. My school had a policy of calling the police whenever there was a fight, whether in school or outside (lots of fights happened on the field across the road, because teachers had no power there), because there was quite a lot of low level violence.

 

That said...

Police won't get involved with the "violence" here. The threats might bring about some charge of assault, but I doubt it'd ever make it to court. But seriously, getting smacked with a football? Even the daintiest pipsqueak, male of female, isn't going to feel any lasting effects from that.

In the US it is Battery (a swing that doesn't hit is assault).

Police should be able to act on a battery no matter where it occurs (except maybe in professional sports).

In the US special charges for endangering the health and welfare of a minor. Other charges are deliquency, breach of peace, etc.

Make the complaint the authorities will either laugh you out or seriously take action. It all depends on local laws, and who the persons are. (Sometimes money walks while poverity bleeds.)

You have a choice in the US. Child & family welfare, regular police or other departments.

You have a witness who will talk, a victim who will talk?
