My laptop charge cable from the psu has frayed at the plug that goes into the lappy, and I honestly cbf to open it and fix the wires so I'm buying a new one. In store they're $120, so I tried Ebay, only thing is my charger is 120 watt, the Ebay ones (only cost 20 bucks) are only 90 watt. That means my laptop will charge slower right?

Illspirit is here since the beginning and he is also since the start a Network Administrator. He most likely has played with the forum software to "change" the join date. He is not the only admin who likes to play with IPB because Jelly's profile says that he has made -8388524 posts. His post history has 129 pages so in real he has about 3225 posts.

Go to the website for the manufacturer of your lap top and check the specifications. Using the wrong charger can damage your lap top. If you have the original charger adapter it should be marked with the correct info.

The cycles of the Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years, and therefore the comparative date actually passed a number of years ago.

There have been a just a few of cataclysmic events of sufficient magnitude over the past 4 billion years. The odds of next one falling on your life time are almost nil. And none of the possible events can be predicted more than a few months in advance.

I'm looking for the names of a couple of games I played as a kid.

 

In the first you had to train different creatures to battle in a coliseum. They may have been called dragons, I don't remember that exactly, but I do remember that one of the creatures was a door with arms, that eventually evolved into a cage with arms. There was a town you would travel around between fights, with an inn to sleep at, some stores to buy weapons and shields, and the nursery where you got new creatures, and there was a junkyard where you could purchase discount weapons/shields from an older guy. His name began with an 'I' and he was always holding a wrench, I think. The battles at the coliseum were in 3D, while the rest of the game was in 2D.

 

The second game I don't remember as well. In fact, the only thing I do remember is that, later in the game, you talk to a door. Everything else I remember may or may not be part of the game, so keep that in mind. I remember a miniature town that you went into. I remember that the point of the game was to go to different worlds and collect certain objects, which may have each had a color associated with them (the object from the door's world may have had the color black). The game was played from an older Final Fantasy perspective, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a FF game.

 

I'm also pretty sure that both games were for PlayStation, but I'm not entirely sure of that either.

 

I know this is probably a long shot, but these have been bothering me for a while.

first game sounds like pokemon, but is not pokemon obviously - reminds me of a game called monster rancher it could be that but hells bells it has been 11-12 years since I last played or even thought about that game so maybe not but sure sounds like it.

The way I see it, the Mayans were a lot less educated than us with astronomy, and science in general, the accurate sun-dials and pyramids could have been built by Europeans hundreds of years ago if they dedicated themselves to observing the sky, and could probably be built by the Mayans using precise observation, so they probably weren't visited by aliens or some wacky sh*t like that.
