So I have a problem guys and need your help. This group of people are being very bitchy and cruel towards my sister because she's apparently stealing her boyfriend away from them and they've been writing horrible things about her on Facebook. These people, especially the main guy have no spines and I'm sick tot death of being a push over. How can I confront this guy and this group while remaining un nervous and being as intimidating as possible?

Have you tried asking her boyfriend to confront them about it? I understand standing up for family and all that, but it's your sister's, and her boyfriend's battle, and if you aren't prepared to confront them about it, don't. Also if you have to ask how to be intimidating in a situation like that you're probably doing something wrong, no offense.

So I'm on Facebook, I made a photo album, and added a date on 1 specific photo. I check the home page of the album, and somehow i accidentally changed the date for all photos. Even when i upload new photos the date is automatically assigned to them. Anyone know how to remove the date from a photo album on Facebook? And anyone know how to give individual photos there own dates? Google is seriously no help.

If your sisters boyfriend isn't standing up for her then he doesn't deserve a girlfriend in the first place. Regardless, go talk to the 'bitchy' main guy and with a respectful manner tell him to stop talking about sister and that it was her boyfriend that chose to do what he wanted to do, remember to say it in a friendly manner. If however they reply in an insulting manner or in a manner that you weren't really looking for then you may resolve to violence. Now this is where intimidation comes in. If you are outnumbered make sure you bring a group of friends that will balance both groups or make you the bigger group. If however he was by himself then you can bring a baseball bat or something that you can bash him with it, that is if you don't know how to fight, if you do then your fists are fine. If in the scenario you don't know how to fight using your hands and at the same time you don't want to bring something to attack him with it, you can bring a friend. One holds him and you punch him. While hitting him or after you have finished beating him make sure you say that you have warned him and if he ever talks about your sister you will do the same thing you did now except more brutal. Make sure the latter is clear as it is the most intimidating. To remove the nervousness, keep reminding your self that you are in constant control of the situation and whatever he does, the outcome will be the same.

We can't all always be online. I just came online and saw the mess. Currently working on sanitizing the place, but I can only do so much without a ban hammer. If you see it just report it so we know about it.

I mean these troll threads spammed with porn and all kinds of sh*t it's excessive as f*ck, I know it might be a bit drastic to implement a system like that but it honestly feels like it's needed.

That's not drastic, I would make it 500 posts.

Daily membership is up at around 350/400 new members every day. 5% of those may make stupid topics, the rest will be fine and good members, why should they be punished for coming to a forum (Which is a place to ask questions) and making a topic?

 

The topics you do not see in the bin are 100 times more you see for a few minutes in the V section, you all see such a tiny amount.

We could have hundreds of mods but it would make no difference.

Say, for example (and ill use small numbers to keep it simple), that a graph's rules was (using y=mx+b):

 

y=2x+4

 

To find the x-intercept I substitute y for 0 right? So:

 

0=2x+4

 

Am I right in subtracting 4 from both sides:

 

-4=2x

 

And then working the rest out?:

 

-2=x

 

So the x-intercept would be -2 right?

 

I did this a while ago but lost all my notes for it and can't remember the rules off the top of my head.

Yes, that's correct. The x-intercept represents the point where the graph crosses the x-axis, which is always going to be when y = 0.

 

Conversely, the y-intercept will be when x = 0

I'm sure this has been brought up by the smart folks who run this operation. I guess I'm just asking why they don't have that ability.
