So I have got a little maths question. Well say a person has 640 Songs in his collection/playlist, Now most of them are between 3-4 Minutes long, Say if the person wants to play all 640 songs, How much time would it take? (In Minutes, Hours & Days)

Since a new page has started,

Can you use a calculator?

Edit: I estimate somewhere around 2240 minutes. That's about 37 hours which is about a day and a half.

If I figured it our correctly, and taking every song as being four minutes long, it should take 42 days, 1 hour, 6 minutes.

Edit: Messed up the hours and minutes. It should be 42 hours, 1 minute, 6 seconds. Roughly, of course.

You are also bombarding yourself with tons of carbon monoxide and a good deal of atomized carbon, which is what really going to cause you harm. It has advantages and disadvantages compared to cigarettes. Overall, which one would do you more harm with habitual use is an open question. But if you think that you avoid risks of smoking by smoking hookah instead of cigarettes, you are naive and grossly misinformed.

Thanks all of you! I didn't mean to turn the question into a discussion, but oh well. tounge.gif

By the way, what we put in the hookah are tobacco-free herbs, not sure what they're called. It's in no way a habit of mine, I must've done it twice or thrice in my lifetime.

I think I'm good. smile.gif

This is the sum:

4 x 640 = 2560 (minutes)

2560 / 60 = 42.66

would that not be 42 hours and 40 minutes

as 42.66 = 42 hours and 2/3 of an hour which is 40 minutes,

and since he wanted it in DAYS as well

1 day 18 hours and 40 minutes - using your assumption all songs are 4 minutes

to be honest if you have iTunes you can see at the bottom. I assume other apps do too

Is smoking from a hookah, with no tobacco or nicotine, bad for your health? Read somewhere that it was worse than smoking 100 cigarettes, but I just smell bullsh*t.

Bullsh*t.

...

With a good essence it will never make the harm of 100 cigarretes. It will also have a good smell.

Wrong. A typical 40-50 minute session can do the damage of 100 smokes.

Unlike filtered cigarettes (that obviously filter the tobacco), the water in hookah does not filter the tobacco, it only cools it down, making it 'easier' to inhale.

Source= A WHO report Look at page 5...

A typical 1-hour smoking session involves inhaling 100-200 times the volume of smoke inhaled with a single cigarette.

Can someone please give me the low-down on netflix? I'm thinking of joining it or signing up for it or whatever the f*ck it is that you do to gain access to their content. So how much is it per month? What kind of selection do they have? Do they have new series, if not how long does it usually take until they're on their site? Is there a limit to how much you can use it? How does it work? (do you just download it on your laptop and then watch it?). Basically I wanna know as much as possible. I know I could probably find out by going on netflix but I like it explaining to me because in all honesty I'm lazy and I enjoy the customer service I receive in here. I'm not gonna tip a cookie because that's laaaaame, but I will say thank you and be very thankful.

My experience has been very good up till this month. I mainly watch TV series on Streaming, with current releaases on DVD.

$9 dollars a month for streaming. I spend 6 hours a day as average. I'm watching the stream on my second monitor as I do my computer thingys on the other.

The Streaming through my PS3 was great until they stoped using the DVD and went to direct play. Haven't got it working since then on the PS3.

Thinking of dropping my Cable and just using the NetFlix.

DVD rentals was pretty good until this month. I used to get 2 at a time (which worked out to 8 to 10 a month for about $12.)

1 DVD at a time $8 per month.

In four years I've had 2 broken, and 1 missing DVD shipment. Each disc is shipped seperatly.

No problems with billing or replacements.

NetFlix doesn't work Saturday or holidays.

I haven't been using their DVD service, but the streaming service is definitely good. Not everything is available for streaming, so you might not always be able to find the specific movie/show there, but there is always something to watch.

Q: Is there a way to access youtube as it has been blocked in my country. I used the https proxy before but now its blocked too.

Some anonymous onion networks, like the I2P, provide HTTP proxy, which would generally let you open a site like YouTube, because you'd be accessing it through someone else's computer. Problem is, the connection over these networks is currently slow. You will certainly not be able to watch live streams. There are some tools that will help you save YouTube videos, like the FireFox plugin DownloadHelper. These should still work for you, but it might take some time to download a specific video over such a network.

Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns.

Recently got Netflix myself in the UK. They don't have brand new releases which kind of suck, but for the amount of content that they have already its acceptable for £6 a month, unlimited streaming on PC, tablets, TV, Xbox etc. I use my TV and PC so it works out great. I've been hitting up Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy after being very late to the party. From what I know there's no real way of knowing what content they have already until you just sign up & search for sh*t you want, sometimes its there and sometimes its not. I've no idea when they update the content and add new stuff. You basically just stream everything on the website - no downloading anything to use it. I have a real sh*tty connection too, like 1mb/1.5mb tops. And I have no streaming issues.

If you aren't sure about Netflix or anything, you can get a free month out of them before even having to pay. I'd of used LoveFilm, but they charged me £4 even though I should of had a free month since I'd never used it. So I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Q: Is "the silk road" legit? Has anyone had any positive experience with it?

You're asking for information about an illegal internet drug trade? Don't you think a internet DEA type organization wouldn't be fishing it's content and buyer list?

It just seems like it would be a lot of nonsense to go through to bust small time deals...

What trouble? The Postal Inspector delivers to your door and slap the cuffs on. smile.gif

"Nonsense"? We're dealing the 'government' here.

You don't think the 'war on drugs' people try to arrest the guys with the money. No, they try to kill the plant by cutting off the roots (you). icon14.gif

But like I said, unfiltered smoke from the water is worse than cigarette smoke... so if you compare the same unit of smoke from a Hookah and a cigarette, with the hookah being essentially unfiltered, the hookah will cause much more harm to your health.

What are these things called? Basically you multiply any of the numbers opposite each other, and divide by either number that you didn't already use and get the the fourth number, this can be repeated anywhere on the diagram. I know it has a name because I've seen it before.

Also a second question. When is the day that all the people go out and kill feral cats? Was that tonight, or is it on Halloween night? Is there a Wikipedia article on it? Nevermind, did some research and tonight was devil's night, I assume that's the day it's done.

@Noob_Nooberson

Not if you have to ask whether it's legit or not. Besides, the drug trade is one of the less interesting aspects of the 'dark net'.
