EDIT: Warlord, there has been one, years ago, can't remember who it was though, I'll be right back with the name if I can find it, if not then just trust me there has been one.

EDIT2: I think it was andylovesGTA, cause the punchline was he was just short of 500 posts (which kiddies was a lot back then, even if that 4 years ago), a Mod can prove me right or wrong on that one.

It was Mark. I know because I co-opted that idea for my own 5k.

Finn 7 five 11
Farking hell that is hot as f*ck.

I'll be watching Attack of the Clones tommorow for 'a reason'.

ph34r.gif

Funny you say that, i watched it just yesterday, i went to a friends place after work, him and his girlfriend just started watching attack of the clones and i tuned in too!

That's why i posted the images because the sexiness was fresh in my mind.

What's the first game to use "Mana" word? Just curious.

From what I've found it may Dungeon Master (1987) and Populous (1989).

I'm useless at remembering passwords and even more useless remembering usernames so Firefox is a saviour for remembering them for me, but sometimes it "forgets", which then means I'm stuck and must either re-register or reset the password thus exacerbating my confusion. So, my question is, does anyone know I how I can either make Firefox never forget a username or password ever again or if there's a trustworthy extension I could use?

Any help is much appreciated.

Well, what you need to do is write it down on a notepad and you're good to go.

That would be an excellent solution if it weren't for my lack of organisation skills. Honestly, I cannot stress enough how useless I am with such simple things. I tried it not too long ago and, predictably, I lost the piece of paper. Also, my house-mate is a nosy git who likes to snoop through my things so I'm not too cool with having stuff like that lying around. I would hide it, like I did with my last effort, but ,obviously, I lost it.

You could find one very reliable password (definitely include some numbers, maybe caps or punctuation if you want / is allowed by the site) and use it for everything? It isn't ideal but as long as there is no breach of site security, and your password is strong enough you should have no issues.

As long as you remember the two main important ones, your Windows Logon and your email password, then email yourself your passwords, cryptically enough that others won't understand it just in case, but enough you'll remember them.

Hey, most men probably don't worry about those dark circles under the eyes, but mine are pretty much huge. Some of my friends even ask me if I'm taking drugs or some sh*t (I touched some stuff before but I'm far from a junkie). I often look pretty much wasted.

So, how do I get rid of them?

That's actually a pretty good idea. Thanks, man. I'll get that sorted out. Cheers for your answer, too, Zilcho. I use a similar method to that already but it's mainly the usernames that I forget. Still, hopefully I shouldn't have any bother with it now though.

@ Mati: I get pretty bad "bags" myself; late nights and early mornings. I find it helps to rub a little bit of cold water on your eyelids just after you wake up. Not only does it help with the dark circles but it helps to hydrate your eyes so that's always a little bonus. If that doesn't help, I'm pretty sure there are certain products to help with it. If yours are as bad as you described, this might be the option for you.

@Greenline

I'm pretty sure that Iranian and American markets are different, so I don't know.

Not really, we get the same stuff you do.

@Slamman's log: He got a warning from Andrew on the second page saying he bumped my topic but he didn't even post in it, heh. I already read his log when spirit posted it before, but I just noticed that he didn't even post in the topic.

Posts get deleted when there's a reason to, so it's possible and probably that's what happened, that his post was deleted.

Bags under the eyes are often a result of not getting enough sleep and being tired, so if you find yourself feeling tired a lot of the time you might want to adjust your sleeping pattern a bit. I'm sure there's some Olay sh*t you can rub on there as well.

This. A 12-digit, ASCII, non-dictionary password comprised of letters, numbers and symbols is as near-as-makes-no-difference unbreakable. All you need to do to learn it is rationalise it. Make letters, numbers and symbols mean something personal.

Having recently heard Desmond Tutu calling for Bush and Blair to be tried for war crimes, it made me think about why I disagree with the idea.

If you establish that a war was illegal and that the leaders who sent the troops were, in fact, breaking the law, does that make the soldiers criminals also?

It's all hyperbole because you can't place someone on trial for engaging in a conflict not approved by the United Nations in the first place- in some circumstances it's illegal, but it's not actually a war crime- plus the indictment process generally requires a UNSC resolution which both Britain and the US could veto. It's very misleading for people call it "illegal" because conflicts waged in self-defence and in the protection of overseas assets and the security of allies are permissible without a UN resolution. The question would become whether protection from terrorists operating a foreign nation (Afghanistan) or a pre-emptive campaign fought primarily on limited intelligence against a relatively hostile state actor who had already broken the terms of UN sanctions against them by developing longer-range ballistic missiles than legally permitted (Iraq, often left out of the accounts of people who accuse Bush and Blair of being warmongers) could be justifiable as self-defence. There's plenty of precedent for both being justifiable- Operation El Dorado Canyon in Libya in '86, and the Israeli bombing of the Iraqi Osirak reactor in '81 did not result in UN Security Council resolutions against the perpetrators and therefore it's largely impossible for an allegation of war crimes to be presented.

Is anyone else getting that advert of Rosie Huntington-Whitely pop up at the top of their youtube homepage? I find myself watching a lot of videos today for some unknown reason.

Yep. Nearly as distracting as that Natalie Portman Dior ad.

Now there's advertising that works, I still remember what it was for.

Advertising that works for sure, man the things i would do to her. Ever since that Star Wars movie, mmmm.

Photos just for masturbating convenience.

Also lil weasel, i don't care if the image is not 640x480.

What are you guys talking about? There were never any SW prequels.

And even f there were, Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor were would be the only saving graces of the entire thing. Not to mention how hilariously bad the scene where Portman is in that costume was would have been. Getting swiped across the midriff by a monster's claws powerfully enough to rip off half your outfit yet conveniently inflict the smallest of scratches is like something you'd find only in a B movie parody.

@Bagchat: It might not necessarlyhelp as much as other stuff for bags, but you should really be moisturising your face if nothing else. As a general rule, if you aren't then your skin looks awful.

I got a flashed Xbox 360 and been using pirated disks. I know it is illegal and all but that's the only thing available. Is it OK for me to join Xbox Live? (I haven't join yet)

Dude, don't ask for help on questionable things here that almost border on the illegal. We don't allow such discussions. You'll be better off using Google.

So, how do I get rid of them?

Moisturise your face after a shower, and lightly rub under your eyes. The bags are caused by fluid build up, and if the body doesn't shift it around naturally you gotta shift it yourself.

I read that once and it worked for me a couple of times, I would recommend doing this.

When you say "forgets" do you mean it doesn't automatically fill in the password field or are they no longer saved at all? If it's the former, you can go to Options > Security, then click Saved Passwords and finally Show Passwords and you'll have a list of all the remembered usernames, their passwords and the site they're saved for.

Or you can just hit the refresh button when it shows up with no password when you've not changed any settings. It does it to me on Facebook and Amazon sometimes. Just need to refresh and it shows my email and password again.

Hey guys, for school we've been reading Of Mice and Men, and we have to analyze a character. I got Carlson, which is sorta hard since he doesn't appear much in the story.

Anyone mind helping out a bit? I'm having trouble properly analyzing him, I mean, I know he's the one that wanted Candy's dog put down, so he selfishly kills it, not taking in consideration of Candy's feelings towards the dog. Other than that I'm pretty much having a creative block.

So, please help? smile.gif

That's exactly what it was. It's only on some sites. Most of the sites I'm registered with will automatically sign me in but sometimes when I return it has signed me out for some reason. I use the "Show passwords"option sometimes but it doesn't have some sites saved for some reason. I've done what Gareth suggested (cryptically saving them via email) so now, even if Firefox doesn't know, I'll have them saved anyway.

Edit: It's a new page which skipped blitz's question so I'll quote it here so it doesn't get missed.

I've always wanted to know this, how come if you attach a piece of string to two plastic cups and speak into one your voice comes out of the other ? Seriously how does that work.

EDIT: Aprrently Blitz still needs his question answered, unfortunately I found the character just as hard to understand and I can't lend any input, sorry.
