Have A Question? V2

Are you allowed to carry a lethal gun (e.g. pistol) with you outside your house in the US? If yes, I have heard you can actually own an automatic gun as well. I don't suppose you could carry that with you as well? (it's a stupid question)

In my country you aren't allowed to carry any sort of lethal gun unless you have some public service job (judge, lawyer, and obviously cop) that is proven to be risky.

Automatic weapons are federally banned. There are certain exceptions, but they come with all sorts of limitations. For most practical purposes, you can't own an automatic rifle.

Right to possess and carry arms is protected by the constitution. However, specific laws vary from state to state. All states make a distinction between open carry and concealed carry. Either of these could be limited by licensing requirements or banned all together. For example, in Ohio, open carry is lawful and requires no license. Concealed carry is lawful with a license. In Ohio, License will be issued to you if you meet the requirements. In some states, license may be denied without a particular reason.

As far as trends go, most states either allow open carry or leave it up to county/city to decide. Most states will also issue concealed carry license. There are also states where open carry is illegal and concealed carry licensing requirements are extremely strict or vague. California and D.C. are good examples of these. So it varies very much across the country.

Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns.

I figured it was like that, I just wanted a general idea for curiosity's sake. Thanks!

I'm looking for an add-on for Firefox so that I can download just the audio from some videos on YouTube. Some of them have all sorts of other crap that I don't need and would rather avoid using them. Does anyone know of a good add-on for this purpose? A nice, simply, high quality audio downloader.

That one downloads in really low quality. Damn, it seems I may have to stick with my normal method.

If you have a good soundcard you can just set it to "what you hear" for the input and record it in your favorite recorder. That has always been my favorite method.

Hey...I have a question. I'm sure I could just search the internet but I'm already over multitasking right now.

As far as gas/petrol pricing goes - is the US the only country that list the price as $3.50 and 9/10(of a cent) on the signs outside of gas stations?

We do it up here too, only not in fractions. Using today's gas price as an example, 126.7 cents per litre.

Australia uses decimal points as well, not fractions though.

Speaking of Canada, why are the U.S. and Canadian car markets so different?

Care to elaborate?

I don't really see much of a difference between the markets. Most of the manufactures use their American line-ups here than their European line-ups.

GM alone created six brands for Canada only, compared to the 1 they made for the UK (and the 1 they acquired, which is Vauxhall), and the 1 they acquired for Asian markets, which was Daewoo and is now GM Korea.

I can't remember the names, but there were a few European and other imported cars that were released for Canadian and Mexican markets, but not the U.S.

EDIT: One example is the Chevrolet Orlando, which was originally sold in South Korea and is now sold in Canada.

Me has two questions.

1. How did Attorney General become a moderator with such a small post count?

2. Is there a way I can view all the topics I have started?

A few of the songs by The Cure for me, like Killing an Arab and Jumping Someone Else's Train come to mind.

I love Don't care anymore by Phil Collins. If you love melodies then try 'Another Day in Paradise by Phil Collins'

@Mark I knew only a few songs in that list, man. I searched the others in google.

Well, both Journey's songs and the 'Jukebox Hero' by Foreigner.

Phil Collins has many great songs, I remember Collins the best via Miami Vice.

'A Horse with No Name', of course a classic.

Both of Kansas songs plus the 'Freebird' by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Hmm... from that list my personal favorites gotta be 'Jukebox Hero' and Journey's songs.

I'll hit you up with a PM one of these days to recommend you some other greats, if you'd like to.
