If you're applying for a credit card, and you run a business, what exactly do you show as proof of income?

Apparently they're opening a Costco in my city next year.

Why should I be excited? Americans answer go!

I go to BJs - pretty much the same thing as Costco.

Why should you be excited? Well...you can buy a 10lb jar of mayonnaise and get new tires for your car all in the same visit. Not to mention it is fun to buy deodorant in packs of 12.

Well, I'm not an American but I've heard a lot about it.

People choose Costco as they think, they can save money. I'd choose to buy food and cat food there biggrin.gif .

@trip Could you explain me more about BJ?

It's a warehouse club, you pay for a membership and get lots of junk in large amounts at low prices. Unless you eat really fast or have a large family your food might spoil.

I buy my cat litter at BJs. BJs is mostly bulk stuff. Quality name brand stuff, just in huge packaging. It makes good sense if you are feeding a family, but I have a hard time buying food there because I can't really eat a 20lb box of cereal before it goes stale.

I did buy my Sony Bravia TV there at a good price.

For us in this house it really works well for dry goods and other basics. 1 gallon jugs of shampoo and conditioner for the same price as the little bottles found in a normal store. I swear I've had the same jug of (brand name) shampoo for like 8 years now - it cost me $7.

Stuff like q-tips are fun too. Because of the bulk amount, q-tip purchases happen about every 4 years for us.

Heck, even their clothes aren't bad. I may never need socks or underwear again.

The catch is there is a membership fee in order to shop there. I think it is like $80 a year for a membership.

I've got an unusual, but ''just-in-case'' question. What is the best temperature to keep a box of condomes in? I know stuff like food etc. tend to spoil on high temperatures, so I just wanna be sure.. It's obvious I can't keep it in a fridge, but is it OK if I keep it in my room in a drawer or something?

Thanks.

You can keep it in your drawer or even in your wardrobe.

One doesn't need "condomes" to jack off. Elementary, my dear Jimmy.

Will Chrysler ever bring back the 'Plymouth' brand name?

It would be cool to see a new Satellite, GTX, Road Runner, or Fury.

"Just in case"? Is that like just in case you ever have the opportunity to have sex?

Ok ok ok...In all honesty I don't think temp. really matters. Just pay attention to the expiration dates.

One thing I remember learning about condoms in health class is the fact that you should always use a lube even if they are pre-lubed to [help] prevent any failures. No one likes to discover a broken condom after the fun.

Those little bastards will survive in your wallet until the expire. One thing you should keep in mind is to kind of squeeze it before taking it out of the wrapper and make sure it still has an air pocket in it. If the seal has been broken in any way they can get dried out and become fragile. Just pull and pray, its much more satisfying mercie_blink.gif

I wouldn't rely on the wrapper staying intact if you're keeping them in your wallet, especially if you keep your wallet in your back pocket. Recipe for trouble right there I would have thought.

@Jimmy You can keep condoms pretty much anywhere reasonably sensible. In a drawer, cupboard, wardrobe etc. will be fine. On top of a radiator or nailed to the wall, perhaps not. And as for the pull and pray advice, yes most people prefer sex without a condom, but it depends what you're trying to guard against. If you just don't want her to get pregnant then get her on the pill. If you're looking to make sure you don't pick up an itchy surprise then wrapping your chap is the way to go.

It can depend on the laws in your country and the terms and conditions of the credit card company, but mainly your business accounts that show the wages or salary that you pay yourself as part of the remuneration package that you should set up for yourself when you started the business. The best bet is to give them a call, if you don't want to give them full details, don't, just give them a random name and ask it as a general question as it's not account specific they should be able to give you an answer.

Ergh don't keep rubbers in your wallet.

Use those extra pockets in your jacket that you never use. One of my jackets has a cool upper sleeve zip that I keep the chaps hidden in.

Proof of income is truly shown by the IRS income tax report.

Thanks for your response. Well, to be honest, I don't want to get her pregnant. And I don't want to pick up an ''itchy surprise'' either, so.. You get my point smile.gif Anyway, thanks for your advice about the places of keeping the condoms smile.gif
