Have A Question? V2

Interesting... All of the Police Equipment Vendors I've dealt with have required Police ID, or Departmental Letterhead purchase orders. Sure you can buy handcuff/thumbcuffs, leg irons and such in your local porn shop.

I thought it was odd too but...Last year I went to the uniform supply shop with a work mate and his wife to buy some EMT stuff. It was all of our first time there. My buddy actually asked if it was possible to buy the police stuff. He bought a PPD sweatshirt.

edit:

because I'm retarded.

I've got a question, it's a bit of sports related, but i'm pretty much asking all over the internet for it.

So basically i need a list of european club team league results from 1980-2010, basically things like this, Italian serie a season 1983, all results from fixture 1 to fixture 30, english league 1987 all fixtures of that season results, etcetras, for all european leagues.

Is there any such place on the internet which takes track of that, or do i need to go wikipedia for each league separately for each season

Seems like an appropriate place to ask this, sine I am not allowed to make another thread - why does halflife3.com lead to GTANet staff login?

From this helpful source:

Nickel metal does not react with water under normal conditions.

I guess not. smile.gif

Probably because the domain is owned by GTANet and the website isn't finished yet.

The Audiophile Thread

But why is it owned by GTANet? Financial reasons? Does GTANet believe that soon Valve would want to buy the domain at a high price? And what do you mean the website is not finished? Is GTANet making HL3?

If it is somehow owned by a person at GTAnet, someone stands to make quite a bit of cash selling it to Valve once/if HL3 becomes a thing.

Which is likely to occur sometime around the year 3046, so several generations down Tank's jet-car flying grandchildren will be very rich indeed.

Considering about 98% of the population don't even have electricity, then I guess there is no need for a ban on something which wouldn't work anyway.

Their basically just a reference number to a unique colour that computers recognise as a colour. If you were to do the maths on it, that is 10 numbers and 26 letters and calculate all the permutations of it, I think it would come to the 16.1Million that you find when you use a photo editing software like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Although I'm carp at maths I think that what it would work out to be.

It's quite hard to explain but I'll give it a go.

There are 6 characters in a typical colour hexcode. Two characters for each colour: red, green and blue "RGB".

Each pair of characters control the amount of a specific colour in the overall mix. The first pair controls the amount of red; the second pair green, and the last pair blue:

#AAAAAA

The first character of each pair controls the primary amount of colour; the second letter allows more precision to the shade of colour mixed. Each pair has a colour range of 0 to F (1-9 then A-F). 0 is the lowest value you can input as a character, so this means the least amount of this colour is mixed. F is the highest value you can input, so the most amount of the pair's colour is mixed.

There are (if my maths is correct) 256 combinations from #00 to #FF, so this means you can have a total of 256 shades of each colour of the 3 colours, per hex, to mix into one resultant shade. This results in a total of 16,777,216 possible colours in a 6 digit hex.

Hopefully you just about understand so far. It's not a difficult concept, I'm just finding it hard to explain.

--

For example, this would be the brightest shade of red:

#FF0000

#FF0000

Notice how there is the maximum amount of red (two F's - the highest value you can input) and the minimum amount of green and blue (double 0's).

--

Another example, pure black:

#000000

#000000

Because there is essentially no colour in the mix (everything is at the minimum - minimum red, blue and green), the final colour is black i.e. no colour.

--

A third example, a very bright grey:

#FAFAFA

#FAFAFA

I didn't want pure white but I also didn't want the shade to be too dark, so instead of #FFFFFF, I used the second character in each pair to put the overall colour roughly between the shade of E and F, in terms of brightness.

Thank you very much for wasting your time for it. It's much more clear now.

Also i wanted to learn how much fonts exist here. It shows there's six but i know there's more.

You can use any font you want, as long as it's a .ttf (I think .otf is also accepted).

It'll show up to those that also have it in their systems.

Is Burbalade the new account of liek oh em geez? And also, what does Burbalade mean exactly? In my mind it's a cross between marmalade, and Burberry. Basically it's a chavy spread for toast, or maybe just a bit of marmalade smeared on a baseball cap with a checked design. Perhaps even a new fizzy drink made of burbal, whatever burbal is. I'm not sure, but I'd like to taste burbalade.

Burbalade is also a car of sorts - it maybe means that but maybe I am giving too much credit to him/her

here is the Burbalade

as for whether it is the same account I have no idea

edit: since liek oh em geez uses this car (same site different pic I think) as his member photo I would say yes

hopefully we are not in for another 'invasion of the ballsacks'

The term "Burbalade" is used because it describes the hybrid of a Cadillac Escalade and a GMC Suburban, which are both based on the same Chevrolet Tahoe platform. The reason for the hybrid is because many Suburban owners want to have the more luxurious parts of the Escalade. I think oh liek em jeez has installed Escalade seats in his Suburban.

@colours - I'm lazy,so I use the colour code 'orange'.

It's pretty complex

? What's so complex about highlighting text and clicking a menu item?
