You have the right to have a shot considering you'll be paying for it. Just sounds like you have a sh*tty GP surgery, I'd probably get in contact with a walk in centre and see if they can do them.

I have a pretty awesome one compared to others. They can get me an appointment the same day sometimes. I've heard of friends having to wait 3 weeks just to get an appointment. I guess its a good bonus for living in a village.

Did she break up with you for that guy? If that is so, I would consider myself lucky, at least you know where you are standing, you have all the reasons to hate her and getting over her should not be that hard.

 

If you broke up for other reasons that are more unclear, then it is going to take longer. Like others have said, find someone else to be with. Also, from my experience sleep makes me feel better, so taking a nap during the day might help a little.

No we broke up a while back but we were good friends, I'm still in love with her so its hard for me to let go. I haven't taken the news very well and we've both cut each other out of our lives.

@Jeeebuuus, you don't upload sigs. You can use bb code to display an image you have hosted somewhere else. Just go to your profile and hit 'edit signature' on the horizontal menu

Surgery, It's 'English' for Doctors Office, Medical Centre, Clinic. They are just like our services, but keep the old name. You don't remember the 'good old days' when U.S. doctor's did it in the office or your kitchen table? Now we segragate the bloody stuff.

U.S. doctors became so insecure that now you have to go to a special 'Procedure' facility to get stitches

National Health Care does it different than in the U.S.

 

We have Emergency Rooms (ER's) they have Casualty.

Did you know we have a Win8 Thread in Tech Chat?

I do want to hear even more comments, I've been installing it, navigating, and even wound up swapping machines with it, Found out tonight that the Consumer version requires a COA, which was not reported on our site that I recall, I wound up going back to the Developer Preview to get my disk reformatted, since without a COA, you are halted on the install. Are they selling Win8 already??

Nope. Win 8 isn't in the stock right now. But I read Tech Magazine that is telling about Win 8 has realeased a BETA.

Basically, the internal combustion engine, housed within the car, uses some kind of fuel (most likely some form of petroleum) in conjunction with an oxidiser in a combustion chamber to create an amount of high pressure gases. It's the use of these high pressure gases that drives some mechanical component and completes the transformation of stored chemical energy into kinetic energy. It's this energy that's used to create forward momentum for the vehicle.

 

So that's how she manages to drive past your house.

The quote box when you press the quote button? And what do you mean? Do you mean you are typing, then press the quote button and everything disappears replaced with the quote in the quote box?

I'm running the dev preview on my laptop right now, its s system shock. But not as major as people make it out as, the new metro interface is better suited for touch screens, and I'm sure when the final version comes out it'll be easy to disable (you'll need to use a reg key edit right now). But as of now I consider the metro, and by proxy the win key/start menu which launches it, as a big full screen start menu.

 

There are a few things that really bug me, but only in the sense that its contrary to how I've done things for years and more like how smart phones operate. It doesn't shut down programs unless you use the task manager, it puts them into susspension instead. The windows interface its self is mostly a logical evolution of the windows framework, and ms design philosophy.

 

Overall its smooth, but its not prime time ready yet.

Guys/gals, ever used this service? I was just surfing with Opera for a change, and it seems it's offered in conjunction with the browser.

I was clicking an email link from inside and it prompted for some web-based email. I don't use Gmail or Hotmail, I'm looking for something easy though, if I decide to sign up.

 

^^ I got the Consumer Preview ISO from the Tech links on this site, but there appears it could be faulty, or my HDD is since it steadfastly refused to install with several errors, it was too much time spent on it, I went back to Vista Ultimate and it gave me a Checksum not matching error as well, so I went back even further to reformat XP on it, the drive is my WD500, replicated to a spare, before I over-dubbed it several times
