Yeah, I kind of misunderstood what she said. For some reason I thought she meant that members were wearing pips that looked just like the Mod/Admin text pips. blush.gif Sorry.

When in movies or maybe in real life when a guy is about to die or get killed he will shout "Please, common I got kids!" do you really think in most cases they actually use that excuse because they want to see their kids or because they just want to live?

The thought of death does bring back the feeling of paternal love and when the dying guy thinks about what his children will become, growing up without a dad, he starts worrying for them. So its not like he wants to see them but wants to live as his kids are dependent on him. It ain't an excuse IMO.

They say that because lazy scriptwriters want a simple way to get the audience to sympathise with the person getting killed or so the audience knows for definite how evil the bad guy is.

Ok guys cheers, another thing is that my laptop when I turn it upside down or downwards it makes a sort of rattling sound like some bits are unloose or something. My laptop is currently working fine, today is the first time it happened.

Any clues?

Are these things true, or is this one of those chain-mail lies?

•There is no electricity bill in Libya; electricity is free for all its citizens.

•There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at zero percent interest by law.

•Having a home considered a human right in Libya.

•All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 dinar (U.S.$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family.

•Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25 percent of Libyans were literate. Today, the figure is 83 percent.

•Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kickstart their farms are all for free.

•If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need, the government funds them to go abroad, for it is not only paid for, but they get a U.S.$2,300/month for accommodation and car allowance.

•If a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidizes 50 percent of the price.

•The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 per liter.

•Libya has no external debt and its reserves amounting to $150 billion are now frozen globally.

•If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession, as if he or she is employed, until employment is found.

•A portion of every Libyan oil sale is credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.

•A mother who gives birth to a child receive U.S.$5,000.

•40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $0.15.

•25 percent of Libyans have a university degree.

•Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Manmade River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.

Some are true, some are semi-true, some are exaggerated propaganda and some are downright false. Id go into more detail but im on a moving train so you'll have to wait. Just to note, as anexample, the Libya debt one is a downright lie- as is the other "fact" doing the rounds that said Libya was self-sufficient for food. In reality, they import some 90% of food.

Yep you got something loose in the case.

If you don't have it taken care of you might damage the other stuff in the case. When you play that game you take the chances of shorting out, etc.

Could be a broken part.

Could be a loose wire.

Could be vermin droppings.

Could be a real bug (insect).

So yesterday I ate Mcdonalds for breakfast, steak for lunch, fish and chips for dinner and lastly Mcdonalds again for a midnight snack.

But I still felt so hungry even after all that. Is there something wrong with me or am I just really that hungry?

Why are people on GTAF so susceptible to turning a reasonable topic into a cesspit of unrelated, trashy and downright boring crap?

What are those group things for anyway?

Initially they were made for the same reason Multiplayer Gangs function today, only to play III online. Then that never happened, they became social groups. Those that joined around the III-era that don't play GTA any more still come here to post because the groups and OGA have been a sticking point.

Relative to other parts of the interwebs, we got it pretty sweet over here. That being said, once you wallow through the sh*t, there's a whole bunch of thoughtful and interesting posts in all sections of this place. You just need to skim over those that have proven over and over that their posts aren't worth your time.

Take it apart, Best thing for a novice is use either Google or YouTube to find your related make and model, someone there can REALLY help as I've found. I'm on a mission often enough to help people over come undue fear with regard to laptop repair, Hey, at least making the assembly and disassembly process a cinch

Open up the palm rest, bottom casing, remove the keyboard and above trim panel, pull the display and associated wiring and shake that baby, shake!

Make sure you can see where this part is coming from and don't get wild in the process. It could be a metal part that would cause an electrical SHORT!! Then you'll be up the sh*tstream without a paddle, so it is important if you're up to the task

For the earlier question about MXM graphic module express cards, here's a video guide showing how it's easily done on one particular laptop, most all are similar because the MXM resides close to the cooling fan / vent, known as the HSF as it's referred if the heat sink and fan are joined in one.

Could also try drinking more water. Sometimes thirst is misunderstood as hunger by the body.

In fact, even if it isn't so, drink more water anywayz.

Nope. In fact, I'm having the time of my life.

Ding ding ding. I think you're the winner. Just noticed I didn't really drank that much water yesterday. Just two cups of Pepsi.

Also my PE teacher told me a couple years back that I don't sweat that much because I don't drink that much water.

That must be why I sweat bullets.

I drink lots because my dentist told me I don't produce all that much saliva. I'd much rather piss every 90 minutes than have painful gums.

You should consume more fluids. It's good for metabolism.
