I'm finally using more Hyperion weapons, I really didn't like the firing increases accuracy as a majority of your shots will be missing and only the remaining 50% are on target. But since your hip firing it's pretty much your aiming down the sights with two guns. Being a non run 'n' gun type player it takes a while to get used to it - you have to be up close and personal in order to kill effectively. Farmed the hell out of bosses and picked up some awesome legendary weapons, gonna work on siren next I think. Love the game Still alive, lurking in the shadows. El Dildo Posted October 4, 2012 Share Posted October 4, 2012 if you guys have missed out on the keys being given away on Twitter, there are other ways... there's already some trainers that duplicate golden keys. they work with the latest version on Steam. it basically copies the key the moment you use it, so you always have 1 key but it can used an infinite number of times. Oh well, I'm just farming/purchasing guns for my Gunzerker actually using my Siren - kinda cheap but it's certainly faster. Also this egg is pretty awesome. Got the Bonus Package legendary grenade mod but its a level 4 so its useless. But still my first ever legendary loot find. I used that one all the way up through level 30. each individual grenade only does 200+ damage. but it breaks into 10 different grenades EACH OF WHICH breaks into ANOTHER 10. it's insanely effective. it's about 200 damage times 30. you don't really have to replace it until you gain access to those grenades that draw enemies towards it before exploding. I have yet to get a jackpot - I can only remember getting a marcus head once and I was far ahead level wise so it was obsolete to me but still good. I carry four sniper rifles with me every single time: One Jakobs, one that deals Shock damage, one that deals Fire damage and another that deals Corrosive damage. I just love using sniper rifles with Axton. I upgraded my Turret with the rocket pods skill so it's super sweet letting my turret blast away at enemies while I just sit back and relax by sniping heads off. Love the game. Really loving it. Tons of cool easter eggs and the humor never gets dull. Seriously, the jokes are really top-notch. Gearbox definitely has a good sense of humor. Level 21 now with my Axton. Chapter 9 was certainly an eye-opener to how the story have been much improved. They actually fix some of the boring ass plot in the first game, me likey. I did read your post. apparently it was YOU who didn't read MY post. the legendary bonus grenade mod that ships with certain pre-orders is extremely effective even if you're a high level. I used mine with success all the way up through at least level 30. it doesn't matter that the grenade mod says it's level 4. it was still the best grenade you could use at least until you get to Lynchwood. if you stopped using it before that then you're dumb because there's nothing more powerful. Well I can tell you now it wasn't a f*cking preorder. It is called 'Bonus Package' dropped from 'Boom' in the turret at the start of the game, it was nothing larger than 300x6, I didn't need to use it to tell it was worthless. If it was a preorder why would I be raving that I just found it. So don't jump to f*cking conclusions, I was just sharing a loot story. As for recent events, currently pissed off I have to start a gunzerker character and get it to level 25 before I can get my last achievement. Even when your like 5+ levels on any enemy you'll get a skull and basically all your damage is hardly anything and dissipates. Terramorphous is more of 4 level 50's deal isn't it. I thought I had a sweet hiding spot, because it looked like his little projectiles couldn't hit me, but then he killed me pretty fast. My second most powerful weapon wasn't even doing anything to him. It was definitely odd. [EDIT] Forgot to mention, I'm level 46 47 48 now.
