Last set of codes for the weekend.

WinPC: KT5B3-Z93ZH-FB3JB-JTBT3-JWKBK

PS3: 535T3-JR6ZB-6H3K3-9TKT3-T9JS6

X360: 535T3-JR6WF-3F6J6-5XJT3-T9J5H

EDIT: At 12 keys atm, I used 3. 2 on my level 50 Siren and one on my level 24 Mechromancer. I got a pretty awesome E-Tech on the mechromancer, it's a Dalh rifle and when zoomed in it shoots two extra shots to the left and right - pretty neat stuff.

Code drops while sleeping is not good, managed to get one working. I have 8 saved up now but i'm going to wait until i'm level 50 to use them so i can get better loot, going to be a while though as i'm only 35.

Beat the game yesterday and the Warrior battle was pretty epic, managed to get a Conference Call x7 shotty of him as well.

Don't know if anyone knows this or not but i found out yesterday that there is a game f*cking up mod flying around the online co-op, it basically ruins your save and many people have lost level 50 characters. All you have to do is join a random game and you could get infected and lose everything, your save game gets renamed to 'graveyard.sav'. I'd be very wary of playing online with people you don't know for the time being.

Yikes, I might have to warn my friends playing on PC about that.

Also Seddo you don't have to wait until level 50 for your keys. It's nice quick and easy purple gear but there are plenty opportunities to get that kind of gear when you're at that level. Farming the Warrior, Terramorphus and re-runs through areas when you complete the game twice. Though it can help during the ending part of the story in TVM as everything gets to 50 by the time you go to Sawtooth Cauldron. I actually have too many purples now, since you just get a collection of them on the way - I find using the keys for lower level guns more useful as you can pass them on to yourself.

I did beat the Warrior using a level 47 purple shotgun and 48 blue rocket launcher from the DLC (forgot its unique name). I just used those two with an explosive damage increase relic and worked quite well. You just have to play it more intelligently as getting slagged (yes The Warrior does more attacks) and firebreathed is more devastating than playthrough 1. I actually had to use cover and I use my Phaselock on Crystalisks to heal (there's a skill for that) if things get dangerous - its just that and patience.

I think it's primarily Xbox, i've not seen much fuss in the PS3 and PC sections of the Gearbox forums.

Fair enough, i'll use a couple of keys and see what i can get, might make my 2nd playthrough a little bit easier.

All this talk about how hard True Vault Hunter Mode is definitely scaring me. Is it impossible to get through that playthrough without using elemental weapons? I do have a nice set of elemental weapons for my Axton but some of my most powerful weapons are just normal bullets. I have to ditch them now don't I?

Granted I did go through TVM without doing any side missions at all and I was just at the recommended level for story missions and sometimes even a level under. So I had to work a little bit harder as they always throw in a occasional super badass 3 levels above the recommended level.

Elemental weapons are not required but they certainly help a lot more as their overall net damage is greater than standard bullet ones. More so I can't stand how long it takes with bullets, especially against Hyperion bots. You really just need a good corrosive or explosive weapon and that's it really. Corrosive basically is equivalent to fire, both it affect armor and that covers bandits, creatures and Hyperion enemies. It's just stalkers and some Hyperion soliders that have tank shields.

Can anyone tell me what gear I would have got for having Borderlands 1?

I deleted my game data for it when I swapped all my stuff to X-box 360 slim.

Then I traded it in towards Borderlands 2 and find I could have had some gear out of it.

Three starter guns that you almost immediately replace, a head piece and a character skin for each class.

Wait, what three starter guns? I got the skins but not a single exclusive gun in sight.

I like how I can skip missions if I already completed them in a friend's game. Granted, I'm never gonna use that option, but still a nice feature.

The three starter guns are a pre-order bonus. You only get a head piece and a skin customization as a loyalty reward.

@mrpain: You didn't miss anything not having the starter guns. You get better ones during the first ten minutes of the game.

I'm so hooked on this game.

It's exactly what I wanted the first game to be.

I didn't like the 1st because almost every misison required walking around a figure 8 type maze killing creature after creature.

Here they have more human enemies and it's not just a case of go here clear out skag, go there clear out more skag and then clear the skag out of there. The stories of the missions are more thought out aswell.

Tiny Tina is an awesome character and very surprising, she has more character than anyone in the 1st game.

So happy that it's been done right this time.

I used the sniper for a little while, but yeah, they do get redundant really quickly.

Borderlands is coming to iPad.

http://popwatch.ew.com/2012/10/23/borderlands-legends/

It’s official. Borderlands is indeed blasting onto iOS devices in an all-new title starring the series’ original quartet of vault hunters. Borderlands Legends, the bite-sized take on the console blockbuster, will have players looting, leveling, and laying waste to ugly bandits on Oct. 31 ($4.99 iPhone, $6.99 iPad).

Behind the big guns of Brick, Lilith, Mordecai, and Roland, fans will be treated to a fresh take on the series’ signature shoot-and-loot formula. Playing from a top-down perspective, they’ll encounter various classes of familiar foes — Skags, Bandits, Crimson Lance, Spider Ants — and pimp skill trees loosely based on the original Borderlands.

Well that's actually pretty cool. I like how you control all four characters simultaneously. Can't wait to get my hands on it... Wait, it's on IPad? Nevermind then.

Alright True Vault Hunter Mode is definitely a bitch. Haven't even killed Flynt yet I'm already experience difficulties getting through the game. And what's up with renaming Rakks to Sky Hunters? Like seriously, what the eff?

Hey I started playing an Assassin, don't know why but anyway what skill tree should I delve into? I think the only real effective one is Bloodshed.

I really like that Critical Ascensi0n and sniping in general but anyway, can any Zer0 players recommend a good build? Zer0 Skill tree

Wait you're saying that you haven't joined SHIFT yet you've entered in codes? How is that possible? Or are you saying you have to dialog text option to do so but haven't yet? But anyway it required to join SHIFT.

No, he's asking if he can enter the codes and get the keys without joining SHIFT.

And the answer is no. Though I don't see why you wouldn't want to join SHIFT. Takes 1-2 minutes and it's free.

Depends on what you're looking to play. If you want to be more of a defensive player and stay back behind your comrades, you should focus on Sniper. However, if you want to get closer to the action, both Cunning and Bloodshed are very good choices. I've noticed a lot of people tend to prefer Cunning over Bloodshed for Death Bl0ss0m, but personally I've been focusing on Bloodshed because Many Must Fall seems extremely more useful to me.

@AreXi: I got confused because he phrased it weird using "yet" but that's what I thought anyway.

Thanks for the advice Pat, also it seems that they fixed the turtle shields by displaying the reduce max health stat again.

Codes:

PC SHiFT Code for a Golden Key in Borderlands 2: CBKJB-S6XBW-5FTJB-JJJBJ-6FZB3

Xbox 360 SHiFT Code for a Golden Key in Borderlands 2: WTC33-SBCHW-69FBR-WFT3T-CJXH5

PlayStation 3 SHiFT Code: K3CJJ-BJ9BK-WRT3B-B3BB3-BX9RC

Oh crap I did not now that they were releasing 10 keys! The Facebook and Twitter ones are different, I did not notice that! I missed the extra two FB ones but I will get 8 out of 10 keys.

I'm seriously hyped for borderworlds after completing 2. It explains the trademark that was taken out by take2 just after BL1 hit the shelves.

You lucky bastards get to have all these shiny golden keys while I have none so far. Why the hell must I need a Gold Membership to enter the code?! Argh!

I know its too early to talk about sequels with three more campaign DLCs on the way, but do we really want to leave Pandora for the next game? Pandora has everything from icy glaciers to dusty deserts to atmospheric towns, what other planets in the Borderlands universe has to offer that is completely different from Pandora. Maybe an actual living and vibrant futuristic city? But I never ever want to leave Pandora.

Judging by the end with that cosmos map that Lilith revealed, I guess so.

Talking about golden keys, I already spent my 8 that I earned last weekend. Kinda annoyed that I got repeaters/revolvers most of the time and non elemental Bandit machine guns. I did get two class mods (for the assassin) but I have yet to get a shield, snipers or shotguns which are the guns I use the most.

Any sweet revolvers you got there for my Axton? Would be willing to trade you with... actually I probably have worse items than you, unless you're interested in Axton head pieces.

Got a legendary grenade mod from killing Boom. It's a typical lobbed grenade type but it spawns out 20 child grenades. Kaboomie.

Can't remember any stats but I got some purple repeaters/revolvers at levels 15, 29 and 50. I think I had a 957 dmg Jakobs at level 29 and a 800x2 revolver too.

Also I got a legendary, a Jakobs rifle from McNally (I think), the second guy you kill in The Bane side mission a level 25, 917 dmg one. Works wonders with Mechromancer with max Anarchy stacks and Close Enough as I can just spam it and 50% will reflect and hit for 4k.
