Finn 7 five 11
I was musing to myself, and the question of "what i would do if i was rich" came to mind, i was reading a thread about "how much you would pay for GTA V info." It got me thinking. Let's just say i win the lotto, around 50million, i would love to pay a gaming company, most notably R North, a sum of money to allow me to come in everyday, and see how things work, and gain insight into the industry. It sounds ridiculous, but provided i signed an NDA and gave them heaps of money i think it would work. I would also get the usual, house, car, pool. What would you do if you got that kind of money? Would you go study at University? Go to Beijing and get high and screw a hooker? Maybe go to Hollywood, meet some of your favorite celebrities? Try your hand at acting? You tell me. ZombieFrogger
Buy myself a Buggatti Veyron, buy a lot of steam games, help my family pay the bills, donate a bit of it to the RSPCA, and probably get started on some of my stupid stuff on the way too early bucket list (like Skydive naked or wrestle a live squirrel or even go 401mph in a buggatti)
stinomontana
well, the first thing i would do is buy a nice villa away from the city. then i would invest my money by buying some rare supercars.

ska
I'm not trying to be an ass, but people who dream about winning the lottery really need to focus on other things. I'd hate to see what most of you would be capable of while possessing large sums of money.
MonstaMasha
Our family has it all planned out, down to the exact house we're going to buy If it happens, I'll have two rooms to myself: My bedroom, which would have a big, beefy gaming PC and the most expensive Mac you can buy, and then my other room would be full of games and sh*t. I'd get all the modern consoles and a hell load of retro ones as well.
Robinski
If I somehow came into a situation where I wouldn't have to worry about money ever again I'd just travel everywhere I could. The dream for me is to do some kind of world tour on a motorbike, much like Ewan McGregor and that other guy (I want to say Charlie Boorman, but I'm not sure) did on their Long Way Round/Down tours. I'd love to do stuff like that and write about it, and if I'm not worrying about money I wouldn't need to worry if my writing was actually good but just do it for my own entertainment. I'd particularly like to go to the South Pole, so I'd try and see if I could buy my way onto some expedition. I don't think I could bring myself to charter my own and be some rich playboy who hires a whole team just to indulge his weird bucket list though. I'm going to try and do this stuff as much as possible without winning the lottery, so it ain't a pipe dream really, but I'd only ever be able to do stuff like full world tours or the South Pole if I was a millionaire. My realistic goal is to do some bike tour across the US sometime in my or 40s if I can actually afford it. My dad did this recently and didn't tell me until a few months after he got back, and to be fair I've never mentioned this idea to him, but still what an arse. Th3MaN1
Interestiong topic.I'd first buy a Pc that would handle any game. Then,I'd buy useless things.btw,i'm 14,I won't buy a house or a car or whatever.
OchyGTA
Buy a few houses/villas in some other countries (Spain, Italy etc.) Buy a Bugatti Veyron and then destroy it because I could afford it. Donate some to charity. Buy a load of cool gadgets/furniture/cars. Buy a private box at St. James Park (Newcastle football stadium for you yanks). Oh yh, then save, invest the rest for kids or just to make more money.
Menaced
50 million doesn't sound much to me anymore, after that Scottish couple snatched 161 million from the Euromillions a couple of weeks back. If I somehow won the lottery, I'd give a huge fraction of my winnings to a few charities of my choice, and then I'd treat myself to a new house, a long holiday and a new car - the usual stuff. fgcarva1
If I won 50 million I'd spend 1 million in bullsh*t non-necessity type sh*t. Like go on an immediate shopping spree. I would reserve the rest for investments.
Petarkco
I would buy a Lotus Exos T125 and put some money away for the future and donate the rest to charity.
GTA_stu
I'd travel like crazy. I'd go to pretty much every country I could, staying in 5 star hotels. Then after a lot of travelling I'd settle down and buy a big house somewhere nice. Then I'd go for a holiday every 4 months or something like that, to places I still wanted to visit. I'd settle somewhere overlooking the sea or a lake, with surrounding countryside and hills.

SIKKS66
Buy a nice country house for a few million, something off a website like this. Invest a lot of it in ventures that would hopefully bring in a steady income to live off. Ventures that would also keep my occupied and interested. Save the majority of it in the bank, let it earn interest. Then travel a lot. Use all the free time I've been gifted to write stuff.

UNRATED69
I'd buy myself a relatively nice house outside of a larger city, at least 30 minutes away, but no more than a couple of hours. I'd buy a decent car, nothing too flashy, but not too generic either. I'd then take half of what's left a put it away into savings (so I don't have to work), and the other half I'd give to charity. Kratos2000
Get a permanent room in a hotel. By permanent I mean I'm going to live there forever by paying for every day. Thus I'll be able to ignore all those annoying people f*cks I currently live with, and be free. I'll take my comp & PS3, with my stuff and such. Then, I will just live. Without all those troubles I'm facing in the last months. Rest of the money is for the hotel, and 2-3 PS3 games.

Edmachine
I'd buy something for myself, the family, some close friends. And then just leave it. Put it in the bank, I suppose. Then, when I'm old enough, I'll buy a nice apartment (somewhere) and live in it. And buy some more new stuff. Honestly, I don't want a fancy big house or 50 sports cars (sure, one cool car would do it). I don't want to show up in newspapers/magazines as a rich snob or something. Oh, by the way, as far as I know, you have to pay tax for your winnings. In Latvia (and US, too, I think) it's 25%. So, you'd end up with 37.5 million. I think. We will be the arms that lift you up We will be the hand that strike you down
Benzoboy
I'd keep my win secret apart from immediate family, grandparents and very close friends. The last thing I'd want is a load of grovelling sh*tbag "friends" to come out of the woodwork looking for money. Anyway, when I've informed those people. I'd buy them all a nice house, not a multi-million pound 54389797 room mansion, just something big enough, and then I'd give them a million each. Then, I'd buy myself a similar house, but I'd also build an epic garage/place to store my cars, I'm a massive car nut and as such I'd have a metric f*ck-tonne of cars, not all £100k+ supercars. But mostly cheap cars to modify and build to my exact specifications. I'd donate a million to Cancer Research UK Apart from that, I wouldn't spend any straight away, that'd leave me a very large percentage of my win still remaining, which I could then keep in the back, gaining interest and living off. This is assuming I won the £161,000,000 Euromillions jackpot from the other week.

anus
Mansion, cars, clothes, etc. 25 million to charity. What's left will be invested in something I get f*cking good returns on. Oh yeah I'd have some massive ganja plantations and maybe some other plants too (opium, coca, etc). Edited August 3, 2011 by Warlord.

coin-god
I would fund my own game design company. A few nice cars, many planes. Alot of historic sh*t that is worth thousands or millons. A mansion somewhere, bitches, and the usual stuff. I would really like to finish University, but probably would just use my power and money to make it easier. Going around like a boss throwing money at people could be fun.
lil weasel
Interesting Mu$e… 50 million? Is that lump sum or annuity? 40% goes to the government ( Taxes) if they can’t figure out a way to take more. 30 million? Lump Sum. ½ kept by the Lottery. 15 million At todays labour rates 1 million might be the expected earning for the next 20 years or so. But then there’s inflation: Wage Earnings of 1$ per hour, 50 years ago, inflated to 12.50$ per hour now. At that rate most people say they are barely earning a subsistence life. So if you’re under 50 and expect to live to 90 there really isn’t much money there at all, unless you still work.
