Moammar
Well I'm making this topic about Chicago, not sure it goes here, but I couldnt find a better place to put it. I'm researching Chicago and basically I need any info on the place. Anybody from there, good/bad neighborhoods, tourists attractions, ect. It seems like a cool place. I hope this doesnt get locked, I dont know if it goes against any rules. (Please dont lock this!)

Slamman
Well, I've probably been there at least once, but SOOOOO long ago I can't recall anything. I used to take roadtrips to Milwaukee for their music events there, and that's over 5 hours trip! It might be known to you already, but Chicago was one city used to inspire the original Liberty City of GTA 3!

Also are you really trying to move to Chicago? You don't have enough information showing that you really want to move there.
vertical limit
Don't go straight outta Libya, man. F*ck the world police. defend your country or die trying, you will be a symbol of martyrdom. Enough of spam. I heard the population of men exceeds women 3:1.
Moammar
I'm not Libyan, I just 100% agree with moammar and support him. Its his country and the people love him. The rebels are just terrorist trying to stake some claim to me. O and im not going to move to Chicago, Im just doing some research. I'm an Okie. BUT, if I was libyan or something similar happened in the states, I'd kill as many of them as I could. Edited August 1, 2011 by Moammar
Slamman
Since the mid 1980s, Libya's Quadafi was considered a loose cannon, to put it politely. I think he should leave, it's time. The Country deserves better. As for Chicago, sorry I can't think of anything, OT. But let me ask anyway, There's been press here that no one knows how to correctly spell his name. That's odd to me. It's true Chicago served as a REAL basis to design the original GTA3, this came up in an old interview with the Housers, or Aaron Garbut I do remember that. They used three Main US Cities so there's no way to single one out Edited August 1, 2011 by Slamman
Xboxless
Better information than google: City-Data: Chicago @Vertical Limit No, that is false, if you check city data you will see that females outstrip men by 3 percent. All this data is based off the 2009 census. So yeah, if you wanna learn about a city check out city data. It's even got forums of it's own where you can ask questions about Chicago

Slamman
They say even he doesn't know how to spell his name, Where's something you'd go by? I'd seen the video from Libya and the various protester's signs on camera, even those don't seem to provide an answer. Chicago is Oprah's home base. All of America knows this is true! Oprahland!! meta187
I know right now they are having a lot of trouble with gun violence, I'm not talking 1920 style gangsters either. Basically, there are a bunch of kids there shooting the sh*t out of each other and any random passer by as well. The mayor and local police have been powerless to really slow it down at all. ~ Studio: Q-13 Lounge / Q:13 Warrior Tunes / Interweb Chex Mix, yo.~
vertical limit
It is Muammar Al Gaddafi. It is just because of the accent and the how there are some letters pronounced very different. You might know this Slaman, I am Libyan myself. Any who, don't forget that the media has a large role in this. Chicago lays claim to a large number of regional specialties, all of which reflect the city's ethnic and working class roots. Included among these are its nationally renowned deep-dish pizza, This style is said to have originated at Pizzeria Uno. The Chicago-style thin crust is popular in the city as well. Pretty much. There's an ever-growing unrest that looks like the same sh*t that's happening with Philadelphia in Chicago. Loads of kidnapping goes on in the area, so be weary of that sh*t. Otherwise, it smells like meat in half of the city and there's a lot of pretentious assholes (as with any large city).

Hmmm nice bike
The Willis Tower is the tallest building in the USA, and you can get some good views of the city from the John Hancock Center, as well. If you're into parks, I'd recommend Jackson Park, Grant Park, and Millennium Park. If you're into sports, here's a Wikipedia page on the sports in Chicago. As for any other kinda tourist-y areas, there's Navy Pier (I worked here last year, the Ferris wheel can give you some nice views, and the walk along the pier is nice, just stay away from the shopping area, it's overpriced). And on a nice day, you can always go for a drive along Lake Shore Drive. Some good neighborhoods are Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Gold Coast, and Lakeview. Some bad neighborhoods are Englewood, Fuller Park, Garfield Park, Austin, and many other places on the south side and west side that are just not all that good. I'm a Chicago resident, btw, I figured I might as well give some quick info. Hope it helps

JOSEPH X
CHICAGO: Also known as "Shi Town", also known as "The Southside", is the largest suburb of Milwaukee, and is made of debris washed up on the south west shores of Lake Michigan. The first settlers in the Chicagoland area were a tribe of Eskimo pensioners who got stranded while swimming to Fort Lauderdale around 5432 CE. Chicago's basketball team are the Chicago White Cubs and matches are hosted by Harry "Mariah" Carey who, in the middle of the 8th, also known as the "7th inning break" will treat the crowd to a rendition of "Take Me Out to the Emancipation of Mimi" before emitting a high pitched whistle, only audible to dogs in the surrounding neighborhood of Dearborn Green Park Grove Terrace Garden Heights. In 2016 Chicago will host the Mexican Olympics Da Bears. http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Chicago Edited August 2, 2011 by II J0SePh X II
