My first GTA was San Andreas, but the one I really fell in love with, and the one that made me fall in love with the series in total is GTA:III!

GTA III, mainly because for me, its the most nostalgic, when I was a child, I would spend hours messing around Portland for countless hours, all without doing the first mission and still having Claude in his Prison Uniform.

 

Not only that, but I found the challenge of the missions and the endless action amazing, as well as the story, GTA III will always remain as my favorite GTA Title, as well as one of my favorite games of all time.

Don't worry about it. i've not been on cause i was writing my GTA's. i've written 14 now i just cancelled my 15th GTA cause i thought it wasn't good enough confused.gif so im just making a different one instead but (you may thinks its stupid) i kinda make mine feel like a game would i be able to put it on this site?

Seriously, just shut down all the "lock this topic and bump an old one" talk and just go on with the topic. No one is gonna lose anything if this topic stays open as it's on the first page anyways.

 

As for the question, San Andreas without question. Such a classic game, everything I can possibly want in a game is there. If only I could live as Carl Johnson in the same world for a while.

That game was amazing, the story was awesome. All the gangs, how dark the game was,the whole feel and element of which was Liberty City. Not to mention characters like 8Ball and Toni Cipriani (his mom always yelling at him, haha)

I agree. Especially autumn season and rainy weather in a dull industrial city - that's what made it so special for me.
