Auto-aim on the PC, few questions

Hey guys. Just played online for the first time yesterday, and i noticed some people had really SHARP aim... and than sometime later i heard about the auto-aim thing...

So i reasearched a little and a couple doubts came up about auto aim on the PC:

When someone creates a server, can he/she disallow the auto-aim function ? Can we (players) see if auto aim is allowed or not ?

For what i read, it seems to be impossible to use auto-aim with mouse and keyboard, is that right ? But what if someone is using a controller with the PC, auto-aim can be turned ON ?

If someone is playing using a controller with auto-aim ON, and the server has auto-aim disabled, will the controller auto-aim still work ?

Please someone clarify this auto-aim situation on the PC for me. Thank you.

Hey welcome to GTAForums.

1. When someone creates a server yes they can set Auto Aim on or off.

2. You're correct, auto aim is only enabled if you have a Xbox360 controller connected to the PC (Or any controller, not sure). It automatically enables because the game detects it.

3. As I said above, auto aim on or off in the game is automatic. In the server if you set OFF; with controller or not it won't be allowed.

Hope I answered your questions smile.gif
