San Andreas in linux help

Ok guys i have problems starting san andreas in Linux Ubuntu see this

As you see in picture 1 san andreas is going black and white screen that happens every time i press enter then it stop's at black screen

i think i started ''the game'' then it appears this:

As you see in picture 2 san andreas crashes

Can you help me to solve this problem?

Here is my system requments

Proccesor: Amd Intel 2.80 ghz

Ram: 768 mb

Graphic cart: Ati Radeon 9600 256 mb

I belive i can play san andreas

That's what happens when you try running SA on a DirectX emulation environment. Why not dual boot Windows and Ubuntu? WINE won't do wonders.

Apparently, someone has got SA running in WINE, according to his post on the Ubuntu forums (scroll to the bottom). The OP should check winehq.

Questions I find usfull:

Did you install the game from the Original DVD.

Are you attempting to play the game with that DVD in the Drive?
