The coordinates from Monday are right for sure. One guy figured out they point to Palmerston Island, then Fireguy109 posted this wikipedia link, which mentions something called Scratch My Arse Rock. I decided to look for that on google maps, and it matches the UTM coordinates exactly!

 

Maybe the clue really is that rock someone posted pics of a few pages back? Or maybe scratch my arse rock is an anagram?

The crystals on their own aren't psychic as they are just crystals but when placed next to your head and used in conjunction with deep concentration then YOU become psychic.

This topic is a scam, it only exists to drum up initial hype for GTA5 by keeping people here every day in and day out chasing ghosts.

 

 

Ive been a member of this forum since 2002, Ive seen all the hoaxes, scams, "insider info" people all come and go, and its all been bullsh*t. Every time its been debunked. this deep throat guy, he made a few lucky guesses, and now youre all involved in this stupid chase

I honestly expected better from GTAforums and R* but this is all too clear to me that we are in a downhill slide since GTA4, where R* no longer cares about the consumer but about profit. My point was that there being a Vlad in GTA IV and a Vlad in his story was a pure coincidence. He could have used any number of popular Russian names and would have struck a match in the game... Dimitri, Vlad, Sergei, Ivan.. all in there. And I already gave a possible solution for the skyline in the V. Why are you trying so hard to defend the Admins anyway? If this were just a game which it more than likely is then the more you believe otherwise the more decieved and hard done by you're going to feel. Just accept it's a game and have fun with it. Lifes too short for stressing over internet games man.

I know fine what your point was, my point was that its totally irrelevant how common a Russian name Vlad is. Why pick a Russian name in the first place? And mention Russians chasing him? They had never been in GTA games at all. Was that just a guess/coincidence?

 

You are effectively trying to say that someone might have seen a folder on a desk, with a Manhatten skyline IV logo on it, and that made them post a story on here, that just happen to include -

 

- Russians

- a guy named Vlad

- using an internet cafe

- climbing on a train

- a phonecall in code between an American and someone with a eastern European accent

 

(All of which happened to be in GTAIV)

 

Oh and this guy is either an Admin, or connected to the admins.

I'm not defending the admins at all. It is just a game, but the key thing who is hosting the game. Ok, here's an idea that I'm not sure has been mentioned before...

 

I'm afraid it doesn't bring us any closer to an answer location wise but...

 

Genesis... is all about the beginning right?

 

Well, what if that? and a middle, and an end.

 

So far, all we really know solidly is that the scale of the next game is going to be huge, but what if the scale doesn't mean the map? I'm thinking time.

 

If you look at other modern games in the genre - Mafia II, LA Noire, even COD Black Ops could be included.

 

They're all a lot more story focused than previously and you can't have a good story without decent character development.

 

I'm thinking we could see someones story before the events of IV (NOT RDR ERA, That sounds ridiculous. I don't care if there's a screenshot) and follow them right through to their untimely demise.

 

Free Roaming

 

I know that the sandbox element of the game wouldn't really work if there was a timeline of 20-30 years so I was thinking, again taking a leaf out of games like Mafia II and LA Noire that it could be chapter based, before you go flaming think about it. Imagine playing as Niko in IV and then after a large event in the game you come back to a black screen giving you a significant date a few months down the line.

 

And you could access your favourite era from the start menu after you finish the game, essentially opening up multiple GTA universes.

 

Characters

 

Yes, above I did mention untimely demises as it seems like a number of these games end that way these days. However, I don't like when you're not allowed the play the game after the last mission so I was thinking multiple playable characters.

 

Imagine the movie Crash but with a lot more violence. You could have various characters stories all coming together for one big finale. It was touched upon in LA Noire and I think it worked very well.

 

Imagine playing as Packie before he met Niko hanging around with Elizabeta Torres just looking to score some more junk and then playing significant moments from IV from his point of view and then of course the moments after IV where all his family are dead or in prison and everything he's worked for has ended up in the hands of a hobo.

 

If you read this far down, well done! and thank you. It's just an idea and please don't flame it just because it's different to the usually GTA template.

How in the hell does this thread get blown out of proportion...how does anyone know that deepthroatgta trutly has hard evidence of GTA V? I'm still not seeing what the point of this thread is... I saw the combined image of RDR and TBoGT and the GTA.net's "V" logo with RDR scenery in the background of the "V"... But how does that relate to anything?

yeah if genesis is the beginning of something new, whats new for the franchise? What if the protag was someone like Packie for example, Rockstar never used a character from another Era as a Protag before he did get on the damn plane lol. Theres many theories that come to mind
