getting people hyped and excited about V instead of chasing mysteries with very vague and annoying conclusions.

 

Rather using logic, examples and definitive research prophesizing realistic concepts and probable implentations by the development team on what V might actually be.

 

Sure as hell won't come from anyone in control here anytime soon.

No. of visitors cannot exceed 39 on kentpaul.com.

40.gif onwards, it gives a 404 error.

 

Update: It got limited to 37.gif now.

Got 28. New lowest. R* informer's page said that it goes to as low as 20 but I haven't got below 28.

Also, meter is random for everyone. The meter on my pc takes only my visit's entry and advances accordingly and that would be applicable to everyone. Now what the hell is Rockstar trying to do by doing that? Attracting traffic? Vice City 2? Lets see..

 

Update: Its going lower. 27 after the advance till 37.

37 still maximum. 38.gif still gives 404 error.

It has been set to work that way, range:27to37.

But why?

Can someone who is better at understanding this programme, give a better understanding of this?

This javascript is made for a cause. But what can that be?

 

What does the whole programme do, andrew? Just the meter or is there any other condition which when fulfilled will give a different outcome? I am not good at understanding the syntax.

This section is generating a new number indeed, between 27 and 37.

If value would be 37, then it would go to 38 but it doesn't. Can we manipulate the cookie to go that way? I'm sorry if I'm not understanding.

 

As far as I know, '38.gif' is giving a 404 error so the only numbers that are available are between '01.gif' to '37.gif'.

You can set the Cookie value to something different, but that isn't going to really do anything. As it's looking for the Cookie value to be in the range of 0 to 37 to increment by one. Otherwise it puts it into the random number gen.

What difference does it make. Websites do this all the time. The valve could go by increments from 0 to 100. It's just source code.

 

Yes, I would agree this is odd but its not uncommon or strange. It means nothing, especially anything related to GTA5.
