I honestly don't get how I had a thread get deleted in gen chat about media and whatnot, but this thread has been able to reach nearly 600 pages and hasn't got a single thing todo with the subject at hand. Like I'm pretty sure I just saw a post about how someones about to go to the movie theatres.. ?

 

Why are the mods keeping this open? Just to see how far people can get pushed over a video game before completely losing it? Like some of these sh*t theories on here are just flatout ridiculous and stupid.. it's just a giant spam and troll fest..

No worries. I found the comment and edited my original post. To reiterate, I think the possibility of MP3 being open world exists seeing how R* didn't make the 1st two.

Rockstar wouldn't even dare f*ck up Max Payne THAT much, no offence, Max Payne =/= GTA, they shouldn't even make it like GTA, Max Payne is a Linear game with multiple paths, focusing on a more psychological insight into the main character with influences from Noir, Neo-Noir, Early to Mid 90's Dark Comic Books and John Woo films. It is not GTA, going Open World would just kill the game beyond of what they've already ruined but tried to redeem.

 

If you're a GTA fan, tough, GTA hasn't been revealed, but don't go wishing for GTA style gameplay on this classic, that's a TERRIBLE idea, the genres and styles just wouldn't mix, that'd be like saying they should make Table Tennis an Open World Game, it makes about as much sense.

I didn't say make it like GTA. I said I hope its open world. Not sure how you pulled make it like GTA out of that. LA Noire is a prime example. Linear, story driven, but I'm free to roam the map.

Have you played Max Payne 1 or 2? Do you really think adding Open World would benefit that? No, it'd just be a messy distraction. That's like saying "Hey, you know Call of Duty game, you know what would make it better? Open World!" the gameplay style and set up just don't work for it, so even if it did have Open World, it'd just feel half assed and lame with nothing to do at all. Seriously, go and play Max Payne 1 and 2, not just for my reason, but because they are brilliant games.

I don't play COD but free roam would be tight. Random encounters with Iraqis... haha hooah.

Yeah, that was me. I went to go see the movie Contagion. It was a pretty good flick. I recommend it to anyone who likes disaster movies. The science in it was pretty accurate too.

 

 

ON TOPIC: Let's see here, topic topic topic. Well, how about we talk about how none of our theories will be justified until Chevy Chase confirms them? So therefore, why should we waste our energy coming up with new ones when so many has been posted? Maybe we haven't guessed right yet, who knows. But that's the thing. We don't know what's right from wrong. And that's the real tragedy of this "topic."

What if D33PTHR04T IS Chevy Chase? If Chevy Chase is the hint, has anybody had a full scale search for it's definition or what/who is it? I'm absolutely flabbergasted how we are stationary, in the same position, and that my mum is dancing to P!NK with my dogs jumping about barking. To be honest, I doubt that clues for the next game were left in GTA IV. Hints were maybe given that there would eventually be a new game, but I doubt R* had decided on a location by that point.

I haven't played the old school games in forever. I started SA over from the beginning after GTAIV got delayed for the last time, but didn't get past Los Santos. If I knew where all my old PS2 stuff was I'd plow through that poon one more time.

 

Anyway, people search for clues for laughs. I don't think anyone thinks there's anything to find. I actually wish R* would put genuine clues out there to give everyone something real to sweat over.

 

Or maybe the loose lipped designers and voice actors who put GTA and AGENT on public resumes actually are clues. See? Now I'm doin' it.

Instead of Chevy Chase has anyone tried to search for Cornelius Crane (His birth name), and see what you can find? I did a quick search and there is a place named Cornelius in Oregon, and another in North Carolina. Chevy Chase is also linked to the Crane Plumbing Company which is nationwide I believe and has headquarters in Mansfield, OH? Their company logo is the image of a bird - a crane to be exact. Where in the USA are cranes common? They are found in wetlands and marshes.

I'm almost certain that V will be announced next month, whether it be at First Look or not. They cant keep dissapointing us forever and really they need to hurry up and get the game out there before the next gen of consoles take over, unless they are developing it for the next gen, in which case...

14 months or even several years, is Rockstar's definition of 'soon'. Since Agent was revealed at E3 2009, which was followed by an official statement from Take Two and an official website for the game, 'Coming Soon' message over the logo has been there since that time, and we are here after two years and a few months with nothing official about it!

Do you remember the cast list leaked on March this year? When i read "Mrs. Bell" i knew that was GTA, because Phill Bell's wike was mentioned in GTA IV, they are divorced, and she was living in San Andreas. The cast list were looking for a californian woman (ugly, divorced.. etc) THIS HAS TO BE THE F*CKING GTA (NEXT)!!!!!!!!

By the way, i don't know where i read the Mcreary surname.. another cast list i believe
