Press Win+R to open the Run dialog box. 2. Type SystemPropertiesDataExecutionPrevention and click 'OK'. 3. If prompted by UAC, click Continue. 4. Select the option 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:' 5. Click 'OK'. 6. Restart your computer. ------------------ WINDOWS XP 1. Go into the Start Menu and click 'Run'. 2. Type sysdm.cpl and click 'OK'. 3. Click the Advanced tab. 4. In the Performance box, click Settings and select the Data Execution Prevention tab. 5. Restart your computer. then if you have nvidia graphics card do this on the nvidia control panel Turn off VSync. It's the most performance costly. Set texture filtering to High Performance Multiple Display/GPU performance to Single Display Compatibility Mode Negative LOD Bias to Clamp Triple Buffering ON Threaded Optimization ON Extension Limit ON Maximum Pre-Rendered frames to 8 install the ultimate graphics tweak http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=386262&st=0 and choose the commandline that you like or try it both -disableimposters -minspecaudio -forcehighqualitymirrors -managed -noswapdelay -stereo -noprecache -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -availablevidmem 1.6 or -novblank -norestriction -framelimit 1 -availablevidmem 3.0 -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -noprecache -nomemerestrict and go to msconfig and go to start up tab and click disable all then just check the ones you want to start when you switch your computer on ,download this put the gta 4 downgrader to the root folder and and put playerped.rpf in C:/.../Grand Theft Auto IV/pc/models/cdimages btw when you play gta 4 go to task manager and set gta iv to high or realtime and if it says access is denied then press the see all processes and uncheck it again plus if you dont watch the videos in the main menu just end process the rgsc.and if you have an electric fan let the air come in the vent plus use a cooling pad... YankeesPwnMets
Here is one thing I noticed: Your first in last paragraph you type like a six year old, but the instructions have correct punctuation, capitals, etc. Looks like a copy and paste job to me, but then again I might be wrong
friendly luggage
I find setting maximum pre rendered frames to 8 creates a delay when playing games. For example if I push a key on the keyboard, it will take like half a second to a second to respond. All this maximum pre rendered frames just makes the game look smoother at low framerates. This delay could be caused by my old CPU though I find a maximum pre rendered frame limit of 3 the best for me.

unc13bud
well, while both of you dissecting his post several ways to Sunday, why don't you dissect the fact that he says he just 12 years old. give him a break and MOVE ON if you don't think his method (or whoever he got it from) works, TELL him WHY and PROVE IT
